fuck yes! pics uploaded this time.. here are 2 pics. First pic is at 55th hour, 2nd pic is 77th hour. As you can see the 2nd pic is the sprout i am talking about where it just dropped dead. It was fine the night before which is why im guessin its done.

in general, is it screwed if the root didn't break bottom of RW?

did the rockwool dry out? If so that could have caused the root to dry and die. Don't feak out though. Keep is wet and it may still live. Weed has a strong will to survive!

not sure bout the RW, but doubt it since i handled all 12 cubes the same way. (dipped about 1/4 to 1/2 of the boto of rw cube into distilled water, shrug it off and then into dome. Every sprout has rooted thru bottom of RW except the 2 but im confident the one thats just short (not collapsed) will revive. I figuredout my light wasnt good as it was on the side of the dome. Now i put my desk light on top :)

As for the collapsed sprout i put a little nice toothpick setup i made to hold it up, we'll see how it goes.

tks for postin!

alright update time.

Sprouts are looking good at this point, each are about 4-5 inches out of RW.. strange they are so tall already, for supposed short indica plants. Maybe i made it stretch a bit earlier, not sure.

As all can see, i am currently lighting them with 25W desk led lights LMAO.. and yes it is actually working fine. I did this because i have no more $ for CFLs, and i have a 600w MH/HPS light, but i figure these sprouts are not ready yet for the MH. So for now, ghetto desk lights it is.

The one that was collapsed and what i thought was finished, has actually revived. It is just a bit shorter than the rest. The one that was very short and only an inch or so out of RW.. THAT one is actually still the same exact. So i dunno what it's deal is.

Side note.. for anyone who cares or reading this..newbies out there like me that just started. I used a humidity dome.. and had no light on them until they sprouted and were at least 1-2 inches tall. Secondly, once they were about 3 inches, i took off the dome as it was hindering growth, and i don't think it was needed no more.

Another important thing is to keep an eye on these sprouts, don't over water. RW cubes retain water very well, and ther is really no need for everyday water at first. Just touch bottom of RW, if it's moist then you can hold off another few hours, if it's not even moist at all then i dip the bottom 1/4 inch of RW into PH'd or distilled water. Then shrug off. Then i use eye dropper to drop a little bit of water on top of RW cubes. The important thing is to keep an eye on the sprouts for leaning or stretching or falling. If so, just adjust the RW cube by switching spots with another cube so that the sprout can RE-lean towards the proper direction again. Its easier to switch the RW cube places rather than adjusting the light.

anyways pics below.. this now officially caps week 1. Only wk 1 and these sprouts are like bigfoot. They already look a lil bigger already as these pics are a few hours old.

quick question for anyone reading.. does anyone know how to get sprouts to stand back up and straighten up? Mine have basically gone past leaning and have fallen over. But roots out of bottom of RW are fine and the leaves look fine, for now i've propped each sprout up on its own labeling stick.

But im wondering if anyone has quick tips on what is causing this , and what i can do to fix?

I only moisten them everyday since the RW cube dries out quickly now (22 inches under the 600w MH light) . By moistening, i dip bottom 1/4 of RW cube into distilled water.

Is this enough water? or not enough? causing the sprout fall?

Is it my light height? i've now adjusted it to 26 inches.

I don't know what lights you are currently using but I'm pretty sure that they have to be closer than 24" If using Cfls or floros they need to be within 4"-6", MH between 12"-24" Your plants are stretchyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

lol.. ya i know they gone past stretching already. I was basically trying to see if anyone could tell me the best ways or quickest ways to get the sprouts to stand back up. For now i've set things up to hold it up and i'll hope it goes well.

Im using 600w MH right now as i already mentioned, so its at around 26 inches now. Thats what i settled on tonight. And yeah theys tretched to begin with because i used 2 desk halogen lamps :)

Another thing i just realized could be that i have 0% humidity. I don't know if the meter is wrong or if its really the case

I would move the light closer.

I guess i'll try that too. I just really didn't want to burn my girls.. its a 600 MH!

I also think my 0 humidity is killing them. I need a humidifier fast. The wet paper towels i got all over the place aint workin

yesterday day 10:

fed them 1/4 strength micro/grow/bloom nutes from HN.

Besides that.. and my HTG light nylon ties giving out and falling on my plants.

Looking good. Have you started nutes yet? I started mine at about 14-18 days old. My largest is pushing 24" and they are a little older than a month. :leaf:

ya got the 600gph pusher in there with 2 6" stones, pushin 10 gals in that 14gal tub, and using 1/2 strength nutes.

Humboldt nutes. Funny thing i misted them a very LITTLE bit and a few hours later one of them, the top left, shortest and smallest one seems done. Its wilted dried up. I misted them with sodium free seltzer water, not sure if it had to do with it. 2 of the others don't look great either they got some yellowish curly bit on the leaves. lol actually in a nutshell, the only one that's doing great is the one i got the closeup on.

Day 19.

Besides already murdering 6 sprouts.. and losing another one in this tub and being down to 5 since last week... i might still not be in the clear as these girls are not growing that much. I think they are survivors of the 600w light shock, but probably still stunted somewhat.

anyway heres some pics, anyone let me know if they know what is causing yellow/curling tips.

Now this is actually the only one thats comin along nice.. but still probably small compared to norm. I duno this is my first grow.

Nute burn. 1/2 strength nutes are way too strong for sprouts. Flush the res, and keep them in plain water for a couple of days. You really need a ppm meter when you start playing with nutes. I burnt mine because I started using nutes too early and didn't have a ppm meter.

interesting.. i thought it could have been the light shock or one morning i woke up and temp was like 91 so i thought that was what did it. For the nutes, is huymboldt kjnown to be very strong?? Because i figured 1/2 strength at like the 9th day is normal? Ok so at least im not too worried should be fine with just reg water.

another quick question.. i fyou have a tub and ONE or two of the plants hv problems while the rest thrive.. what do you do? For instance the others can continue the nutes.. so i just manual/eye drop water the problem ones and lower the res water lvl?? help

You can either keep the nutes up and hope the other two can hang or decrease nute strength and foliar feed the healthy plants. You could also run a mini DWC for the two sick plants. I would start about 200- 500 ppm and get up to about 800-1000 before you flower.
