It's a red flour beetle....now to find out if its trouble. No leaves have bug bites or anything....hmmm...
Edit...sounds like flour beetles are only in food and shit....looks very similar to that though. I guess its not causing problems, so Fuck it
yeah if they arent being a p[est no sense in spraying and shit to get rid of something thats not hurting anything.

No tips really bro, lol....I take most of my pics when they are under the mh and I just move my camera around till it likes the lighting and focuses nice. Otherwise, just take them out from under your lighting and Fuck with that a little. Just play around with it and you'll find something that does your girls justice!

Mylar, a nice ass dome with closeable vents and shit, rapid rooters and cloning gel :)! Going to read up on cloning tonight, maybe clip tomorrow. cloning is ez, cut @ 45 degree angle, give the area you are gonna put into the rooter a light scrape then dip into gel, plop into rooter and mist a couple times a day

Thanks as always Matt!!!!
hahaha.........

really though, people put more into cloning than needed. i just did my 8 with 100% sucess and i didnt do anything special, only difference is i used jiffy pucks and powder instead of gel, i did make sure i got a SHITLOAD of that powder on them stem so you may want to make sure you get a healthy amount of that gel on them, not sure if your supposed to soak your rooting things or not but if you are try mixing a small amount of that gel in with the water you soak your medium in, best of luck man

Just half assed hung the mylar. I can tell more light is bouncing around under the canopy!! Looks cool too:). Before the next run in the cab, ill re hang it so its smooth everywhere!!! Anyone use the rapid rooters? The hydro guy recommended it over the.rockwool I was going to buy. He said the rockwool holds too much water and doesnt allow enough air...hmmm. I could spend hours in the hydro store :)!!!! Here are pics. They will get a drink and full feeding in the morning before work!!IMAG0511.jpgIMAG0515.jpgIMAG0513.jpgIMAG0514.jpgIMAG0516.jpg

I think its probably worth it. I can tell its making better use of my light for sure! It's a bitch cutting it off the big ass roll and hanging by yourself though. Gonna recruit the wife next time I hang it :)

bro, get rid of the foil you would be better off without it. it doesn't really reflect that much light.
He is right, You would be better off with flat white paint. Foil isn't as reflective and can create hot spots. Try a mylar emergency blanket or two. They are a pain in the ass, but would work. Nothing wrong with some white paint though! The mylar is 1mil and was 28.00 for a 50 ft roll. An emergency blanket is under 3.00 and paint is only a few bucks.

Mylar (with opaque backing)> FLat white paint > Foil

foil is not as useless as everyone states and the hot spots arent as much of a issue as everyone says they are

as long as the foil is against a solid surface it actually dosent create anymore heat than the surface would by itself, if you have big pockets between the surface and the foil then the air pockets will be warm but this is not going to affect your plants.

Edit: mylar is actually transparent by itself and allows light to pass through it, if light is passing through it is not being reflected, so a Opaque backing for the mylar is good

Useless, no! Ideal? I wouldn't say it is. Anyone should be able to pick up a can of flat white, no matter your budget. From what I've READ foil is only around 55% reflective and flat white is around 75-80% (don't quote me on the #s). That's a lot of extra lumens potentially going to waste with foil.

i think foil is around 75% but same goes dont quote me either, remember tho reflector hoods for grow lights are made out of....Aluminum so it does have its uses, and yes i agree white paint is better and foil IS NOT ideal. BUT.... if you have no money and only a roll of foil then i would say use it up, and also if you already have lined with foil no sense in buying paint in my honest opinion. but anyways i dont want to debate over this just saying that it still is usefull. and i have a peeve about people telling people to take it down ASAP and go out and buy something else (not saying you said this but i have seen it numerous times on here) as foil is almost just as good as white paint, the only downfall is its more expensive and slightly less reflective.
