first grow soiless mix with OG Kush

Today my room temps are 83 degrees lit and 70 dark, no c02 will this be okay? I have 4000 watts lighting my 14 inch plants(34, lots) i mean as long as the plants aren't burning it's ok right? no such thing as too much light? Im just trying to max out the last week of veg, but I'm worried my temps r too high... please help, much appreciated.

Day 26 the babes are now 15-17 inches tall. I topped a few of the tallest ones a week ago to see how they do within this particular strain, against the ones untopped. I will be starting 12/12 in 4 days (1st of May) I am buying a dehumidifier for flowering and a portable A/C for cooling my watts very soon. I have "high" hopes for this crop of beauties They seem to be lush and I think will have alot of heavy dank bud. Flowering at 18-19 inch average, curious to my final height... when should I start the flowering nutes?

Lookin good as hell man. Lol. A carbon sock, I don't really know how to explain it. Ill look for a link. But its basically a sock fitted to ur fan intake (4-6-8") that filters the air through carbon before hitting the room (basically a carbon filter but much simpler and way cheaper) ill look around for a link. man I bought some cheap-assed cheesecloth for an intake sock LOL i cut about 7 layers that fit over the end of my passive intake, supposedly it works wonders for buggies and spores... I thank you for the link but I dunno what u would use carbon for on an intake? It says it's for smell control, I have a HUGE carbon can, it's a big heavy assed bitch, the Roseanne of filters, seriously it's around 50-60 pds, I'm set dawg

They are lookin good from far but far from good man... alot of the lower small fan leaves are yellowing and I know it's not from a nute deficiency. I did some reading and I really think it's from when I water I splash a bit on lower leaves when I'm reaching like a contortionist to hit all of them without moving/making a path. It says the splashed leaves will go yellow from the HID, seems logical?

Also I know I'm getting bugs and PM is back so they don't look as pure green and lush as I want but I'm a MF perfectionist. It's time to get serious up in here, it's BUDDING TIME baby yeahhhh. I'm going to go spend some money today on PM cure, bug strips(thx) and neem oil. I'm pawning 150 bux worth of shit for a dehumidifier soon, it get's crazy humid in there at dark time, I wanna roll at around 15-20% like you do. Then my girly is buying a portable A/C when it gets hotter. Question for you.... I'm gonna start 12/12 ing them with just the 3 k's i have goin for maybe 2 weeks, then spark that other HPS (damn they hot) when the A/C get's here. I can keep the temps easily at 80 right now. My question is will this affect the final outcome compared to if I had the final HPS going for the first two weeks of flower? I wouldn't think so myself but... I trust mad scientists

This is some bud I'm smoking on right now, it's called... marijuana, lol I have no clue the strain, I just got it off my buddy and forgot to ask, it's locally grown by the people i get my clones from. It tastes like smooth vanilla at first then it tastes sortal fuelly as it expands and fills your lungs and you can't hold it very long and it comes out THICK! a soaring high that makes everything glow, not even much of a burnout. It's some of the best weed I've smoked in a few weeks... just wanted to paste a pic of it.

Looking good man. Make sure you give your girls plenty of horizontal space, from what I've seen with my OG (at least my strain of OG) during the Streching Phase in Flower it tends to bush up more then it tends to Stretch for the light at least in my experience. I vegged my girl about to about 2.5ft tall and she grew about a 1ft in Height and 2ft in diameter.

Thanks very much for visiting. Omg I topped 8 of them the other day, making them flower even wider!!! I have about 11 x 10 x 7.5 feet of space and 32 plants total and your right they are getting flipping wider by the day and not alot taller!Theyve been around 16-18 inches but widening out like nutz. lol I'll be damned. Whats say I get in there with a razor blade and trim tons of the lower branches that are making them so wide? so maybe they concentrate on top growth. What I need help and advice with is knowing i won't stress or damage the plants life vitality by trimming them like this... I really don't think I have the room for hugely wide plants I just want to concentrate on one to several HUGE top colas thick and ripe with bud and have space for them to breathe a bit.

If you want multiple single cola plants don't top and dont lst they will grow straight up one big cola. Now since its to late I recommend just going with it after the second week of flower (after the stretch is over) just clean up under the canopy taking off all the stuff not getting enough light so more energy is focused on top buds. Don't go hacking away at your plants try to leave them as intact as possible. But if you really have to cut them to pieces to make them fit that is ok, my OG is resilient as fuck just trim in stages so your not putting huge stress on the plant. Good Luck and I'm Subbed.

thanks for the luck wish even without topping since i started with cuttings they are growing fricken sideways lol as in they are just gonna be bushes, not much I can do. Id love to grow some single cola plants in a SOG soon... maybe 20 per 1000 watt and flower them at 8 inches ending with 2 foot beauts with even flower canopy, that would be ideal but I have no skills in hydro yet, soon enough, it's a learning process.

Ok update, they are peaking at 20 inches sum only 17 inches. I have decided to re-vamp the entire room within the next 24 hours. I will be adding a secondary intake for more cool air (6 inch I think) cleaning all equip and room. light leak-proof better for 12/12. 2 more oscillating fans and a neem oil treatment because I'm 90 % positive i have bugs, I would say thrips, due to the type of leaf damage, maybe mites too. It's early so I should be A-OK... here's a pic of the leaf damage






any ideas??? if thrips does neem oil work?

ahhhhh who am I kiddin' I gotta post one of flowering day 1. I also took 2 plants out for 36 hours of complete darkness because I have just heard too much about this shit, gotta try it and compare results... If the marked 36 hr dark plants show signs of flowering first plus develop faster than straight 12/12 maybe this will become ritual, for now it's fiction to me and could stay fiction... hehe ciao fo' now ~ BCbuddy

ahaha damn... thanks Ptone I figured as much, I'm really hopin my strand of OG doesn't take it's sweet ass 10 week time, but I mean, I'm not going to lose that final weeks swell so I may have to go the 10 :Z whatevs, time will tell. Maybe the 2 days(48 hours) dark with ice cold water i plan on administering near the end will speed up the finale~ stoked either way

yeah 10 weeks is a long time but its well worth it. I yielded 80gs from my girl and only under a 250

UPDATE:

Day 9 of flowering today. The plants are stretching up wildly, I have gently bent a few tops away from the lights. I would say it's an LsT method, they have bushed out and multi-cola'd due to this, just a few, maybe 6 plants. Temps have gone up to 83-84 degrees with the weather changing here it maybe a little too hot in there. I was thinking of adding another fresh air intake, 6inch, this time with a small axial fan assisting the flow. Gotta maintain this shit less than 7 more weeks or so. I have little tiny white hairs sprouting out all over the place and I just made the change to flowering formula for feeding. I have a good pest control deal goin now and no signs of powdery mildew ever returning. Can't get in for pictures right now, it's " sleepy time " but i will put a couple up in about 6 hours when lights r on. Oh they are about 24 to 26 inches and bushier by the day. Got some thrips i see.
I use azamax twice. once in veg (2weeks) and once in flowering 2weeks.
I Have yet to see a bug since i bought that stuff.
Og kush is a nice strain. Hard to get. So im stuck with the Purple kush.
My advice to you is... Looking in a co2 tank and hooded reflecters. Its going to get really hot in july.
Co2 enables you to run your room a little bit hotter that without.
Fliter>>>>Hooded lights>>>>>Outtake
Put the filter on the ground and run the ducting from it to the double sided hooded reflectors. You then run that as your exhaust.
