First grow... some unanswered questions(pic)

im going 2 grow on the roof.... i know there will b more than enough light... but wont the flowering get screwed if i put them in the shade?? should i use a green house net on the top??
what is the difference in quality b/w indoor and outdoor...
its very easy an cheap to gt weed here.... but its crap... gt some really good charas 4m the mountains... himachal... but the prices have gone through the roof in the past few years....
im hoping to grow so i dont have to run to the closest corner an gt shit weed coz im out of hash....

No, a little light shade won't screw up flowering. The greenhouse net would be a similar concept. The light comes through, but much of the heat is cut. Your plants will be very well established by the time temperatures start to really climb there, but up on your roof you may well find that temperatures climb to really surprising heights because of heat absorption and radiation, maybe even 50C. If you go up there, make sure your plants are in the largest pots you can manage, otherwise, I think you could find yourself watering almost every day ! It's no accident that all the ganja in India is grown in the highlands.

I'm just now thinking that you could continue to veg indoors until the main summer heat is passed. Since you don't have to worry about frost, then you can time your flowering so you finish in December. Of course, if you want to wait that long!

ok so ive ordered a HPS kit 250w, yellow light, with attatched ballast and reflector..... im geting the shop keeper to seprate the ballast from the light system....
now how high above the plants should i hang this light.... with the cfl's i was between 2-5 inches above the plants.... my closet is 5 ft high an the tops of the plants r abt 12inches off the ground.. so at the moment i have 4 ft between the plant tops and the roof..
also i have a single fan in the closet but i keep the doors open most of the time... since it gets hotter do i need another fan....

put your hand under the bulb and when it feels hot you know its too close to the plants. Around 8-12 inches should be good.
Yield depends on how long you veg before flowering with seed plants.

all I see is an assload of cfls (wasting your time)

the reason im having 2 still fuck around with cfl's is coz of electricity cuts...
my invertor ( power backup) cant take the load of the HPS.... so when the electricity goes(alteast 5 times a day) a switck 2 the cfl's....
the plants r doing really well though....

you can produce some good bud with cfls. take it from me i've grown with HID and CFLs. i would like to use HID, but if i cant (and you obviously cant right now) i would gladly take some cfls. take a look at my album. those buds were grown with 2 125 watt cfls. your plants look good. keep going man. FUCK THE HATERS!!

all those grown under cfl's??? killer looking good...
what ive done is put the HID on the main power so the plants gt abt 14-18 hrs with the hid.... when the power goes i switch to cfl's....

sounds good man. any time with an HID is better than no time. also when you switch the light cycle over to 12/12 you should have enough power to run the HID the whole time.
and yes those buds were grown 100%cfl. if you can get the lights close enough you will actually get some pretty mind blowing results

thats kind of impossible.... i live in india an power cuts r a way of life.....
if i run the system as i have it.... givin the plants as much HPS as i can and cfl's when i have 2.... is there a chance i stress my plants into hermies during flowering
