And this Bloom booster would only be used on the smaller Cuttings?
oh, hell no! use that on the big girls, the smaller cuttings need to get rooted and i only run them with the botanicare nutes @ half strength (bloom, aquashield whatever) bloom boosters as a general rule should be used in flowering... they will shock little ones into uselessness... just sayin'

hghflyrjd1, is that powdery mildew or chemical residue on the leaf pictured at the bottom left of photos? If it washes off and stays off its chemical. If it comes back its mildew.

White residue was only chemical buildup.Cleaned it off and it has not returned...Transferred My Plant From Its 4 Inch Pot to a 3 gallon Pot..And into Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil with 30% Perlite. In my Booth I Had to add 2 More 80mm Exhaust Fans to the Back and added 4 passive intake holes. Now my temps have dropped to about 78degrees with ALL the lights on.So im happy now and I will see if i can tweak it alil to get a few more degrees off..

********I started my LST last night. And the main cola has already started turning up and ALL the Nodes that WERE LOWER nodes are NOW NEW colas(Im Assuming?) and turning up as well. The growth seems to have continued well.So lets see how this goes.I decided to LST after thinking im gonna want to push this plant as far as i can,in my limited height, so LST will be the best way to get the MOST out of this 1 plant.I might decide to TOP after i get around the next corner of the pot(about a week i guess)But It looks like its doing well.Im gonna find better anchors for tieing it down lower or im gonna mount the screws inside lower on the pot toward to soil more. But LST sure does seem to work since the LIL inside nodes are turning up like colas. Thought Ied Share This Article on CFL lighting From Ed Rosenthal himself.

Let me share a magazine article with you about Lighting.

From Ed Rosenthal:

In the new Skunk Magazine there was a question in the "Ask Ed" section that just made my night last night when reading it...

The Question Was:

I intend to grow a single cannabis plant in a space 1' x 2'. What light would you recommend? I was think of using four 30-watt compact fluorescent lamps. Will this be enough? Cost isn't an issue but I am deterred from getting a high pressure sodium [light] because of the amount of heat the bulb produces.

The Answer Is:

As you mentioned, you have several lighting systems to choose from, including compact fluorescents and high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. Among HPS lamps you have a choice between a single 100-watt lamp which uses a total of about 120-watts and emits about 8,800 lumens(73 lumens per watt) or a 150-watt lamp, which uses about 180 watts and emits almost double that-15,800 lumens (87 lumens per watt).

A 42-watt compact fluorescent (CFL) emits about 2700 lumens(64 lumens per watt). Four 42 watt CFLs use 168 watts and emit 10,800 lumens. Other size CFLs have a similar efficiency.

However, that is only part of the story. Plants use mostly red and blue light. Yellow and green light is of little use to them, so light that is emitted in these spectrums is wasted energy. Most of the light emitted by HPS lamps is in the yellow spectrum. Only a small amount of the emitted light is in the orange or red spectrums, which plants use efficiently. Warm white fluorescents (2700 Kelvin) emit a greater portion in the red and orange sectors.
Although fluorescents produce only about 75% of the light per watt that the HPS does, the amount of light usable by the plant is equal or probably higher with the fluorescents. You may wish to experiment to see if adding a single cool white CFL to replace one warm white results in shorter, stouter stems and more vigorous growth. The reasoning is that warm whites don't emit much blue light, which the plants use for photosynthesis and to regulate their growth. The cool white bulb supplies the blue light.

My call for your unit would be to use several (three to five) CFLs with a total input of between 120-160 watts. Although the 150 watt HPS is a bit more efficient that the CFLs in total output, watt for watt the fluorescents provide as much useful light as the HPS lamp. Heat is another consideration. The HPS runs much hotter and emits more heat than the flourescents.

Make sure to use reflective material around the garden so that any light escaping the garden is reflected back to the plants. Any light that doesn't get to the plant leaves is wasted.

First Grow Cant Wait To See My Results With These CFLs..

10 days as Passed...Updated Pictures.Deep Sweet Grapefruit And My ChemDog.

The Grapefruit has filled in great and i have about 12 nodes pointing up.and are at about 2 -4 inches with almost 2 full sets on each.

The Chemdog as also taken off after transplanting form the tiny peat-pot i rooted it in(I have a bubble cloner now)Cant decide on topping or FIMing her.But i think ill just let it go so i can flower these 2 together i hope the chem dog catches up to the Grapefruit alil..Very happy with my results thus far..Lets see what happens. Thanks for following

On the LSTed plant there are some big fan leaves that are bunched and bushed up on one side and a few that are pointing into the center area covering some bud spots..CAN I TRIM SOME OF THESE?,This would also open it up a bit.

they are your plants, you can do whatever you want! opening them up a bit is never a bad idea, but it is your choice... me, i like to take clones while pruning, it's like a two for one thing...
