first grow. strain suggestions

starting my first grow and was wondering what strains people suggest i grow. i want medium - high yield and obviously a good quality smoke. the only strain I'm almost positive i want to grow is GDP, other than that, it's open. I have six pots and am using the SCRoG technique and using dwc/bubbleponics as my grow medium. all suggestions appreciated. no negativity. thanks.

I always recommend Serious Seeds AK-47. Easy to grow, fairly short flower period, very strong sativa like high with no paranoia. Spendy, but a good value when you consider it's consistant, world class, and has a decent yeild. If you're looking for a strong indica brain bake, consider DNA's LA woman. It's a very tough plant, has great yeilds, and smells fantastic. There are better indica choices if you like colors or fruity flavors, but few that are easier to grow.

yea im not sure if i want another indica besides GDP cause I mostly smoke sativas but you definitely need to have a stash of good indica to. Plus, i really like fruity and colorful bud. The color just adds to the overall experience and appearance. i really like art so i guess that would sort of explain it. thanks for the suggestions, the AK 47 is definitely on my "possibilities" list now. +rep

also, if anyone knows of a good motivational high i'd be interested in that too. I've had a few that have given me this effect and i got so much work done it was ridiculous. lol

ak works its very good smoke. but im growing white widow and northern lights now with others but, that w.w . and nl is alsome. im going to grow it all year.

yea, those are classic strains. legendary status. lol

Try a Spice of Life strain, everything I have gotten from them has been top notch and very easy to grow. I would suggest the Blue Satellite or Donk I think both would work well in a sog or a scrog.

northern lights #5 , nuff said, very forgiving plant, but get it from a good source, PeakseedsBC has good one at a fair price

iv bought from alot of banks my fav... is attitude alway get on time and im in us so.

no reports on NL#5 ? its a classic, do a little more searching or Google it, its been around since the late 80s.

my first grow is coming up as well and i got three strains from sensi seed bank'

i'll be growing the northern lights #5 first because it's an easy grow, everyone knows it's name and it is some of my favorite smoke. i suggest you pick some up too
