Just looks real indica to me .....we'll see.
I am using a 400 watt hps Gavita bulb! It looks like the light is off to you in the pic because I am using a sodium flare lens on the camera so you can see the true colors, but trust me it is on. Then I just added an assortment of cfl's and spotlight cfl's to help get some light under the canopy!what are you using for light?I'm not sure but from what it looks like your going to need more light real soon. But i could be wrong, you could have a mh or hps and just got the light off. And i've never heard of a plant tripling in size when flowered> i have heard of them growing 12-16 inches taller.... my plant was 10ft tall outside before it started budding , you could get it huge by leaving in veg for a long time (inside) then put outside during flowering season......id say just leave about 20 inches in the room (from the top of the plant to the light) before you put on 12/12 to get your max.
Alright Doc I am starting her tonight on the gradual change in photo period, I have moved from 18\6 to 15\9 and next feeding will start my transition nutes. I am planning on going 12\12 on next saturday. Do you think that is a gradual enough change in photo period? Also wanted to let you know she is starting to show her pistils now! I will see if I can get a pick tomorrow, don't want to bother her while she is sleeping!Wow, that looks just right.
I woudn't go for more than another week of veg. What I'd to is start introducing the new photoperiod and new nutes to the plant gradually during the next week. That way it will start budding faster.
Yeah!I have been waiting on some Toxic Lemon haze pollen so I can cross into my C/O females and have a seed stash to put back.Waiting patiently!Super Lemon Haze Is The High Times Cannabis Cup Winner From 2008
First signs of pistils are always an indicator that a plant is ready to flower. Also, hats off for not bothering your plant with flash pics, it's the right thing to do.Also wanted to let you know she is starting to show her pistils now! I will see if I can get a pick tomorrow, don't want to bother her while she is sleeping!
Good advice, lower fan leaves create a hormone that keeps the plant bushy, with only one big cola and little budgrowth on secondary growth. Removing them will make your plant grow faster and with more buds on secondary growth.Ok I am two days into flowering my girl I have taken the advice of my best friend who is a caretaker, and regularly harvests 200+ plants I have removed the lower fan leaves! I hated to do it with it being my first grow, but they were so large none of the bud sites where going to get light on them! Except through the fan leaves of course. I only removed the ones from the bottom, I wanted to cry butchering her like that, I attached a pic of what I took off.
Yes Doc that is exactly what I was planing on doing getting Mr. Beaker, Mr. Vape, Mr. Pipe and some nice rice papers and inviting all my closest friends over to the cremations services, I am hoping that there will be many nights of these services. I have never grown plants really of any kind beyond seedling and I just didnt understand why people cared about there plants so far, but you put in the time and effort and see such a healthy plant just didnt' want to harm it in any way. But, hell I want some good buds. What are you going to do when you harvest?! Hold a funeral?
Man it depends on a lot of variables, lighting, co2, nutrients, healthy plant! I can tell you this my buddy that gave me the seed grew one under flourescent grow tubes, and though she was 6ft tall she had little foliage and only got half ounce off of her, now on this site there is a guy that using soil, 7 cfl's and nutrients was able to get six ounces of of his before drying it! I myself am only on like day four of flowering and like my thread says its my first full grow! It says on there website that in a cubic meter of space it should harvest 700 grams, well that is around 27 cubic foot or 9 square foot wich would be a 3x3 area well with spacing your plants for proper growth you can get around 6-8 plants, lets say 6 that would give you right at 117 grams per plant wich is a little over 4 ounces! Not every plant is going to yeild the same thing even clones sometimes they are just low yielding! I am setting my sights on the lower end and hoping for a two ounce harvest, granted the guy with cfls got 6. I am using a 400 hps so I figure if I hope for less everything over is bonus, don't want to set my expectations high, and then be disappointed!i just bought some SLH seeds and waiting for them in the mail. what is an estimated yield per plant? just a ballpark figure.
