First grow tips and advice much appreciated:)

Hi all

This is my first ever grow/post on this website, I have being reading a lot and I must say, reading it and doing it are completely different things haha. I have just about made every mistake there is (thank god for this website as it saved my plant about 10 times lol) but all in all I still think I came out on top:). I started out with a 2 36 watt 4ft fluro and put them it in my cupboard with a osculating fan. Turns out this hobby requires more than that and is awfully addictive, so over the past few months I have spent a bit of $$$ on some gear.

My set up is:
-1.2x1.2.2M grow tent ( I got this as my misses started bitching about the stupid bright light waking her up at night, god woman are selfish haha.)
-600w hps/mh light (ebay deal, but I bought lucagrow hps/mh lamps from my local hydro shop as I read the no name lights are junk )
-RS 150 can fan
-carbon can filter
-small desk fan
-Osmicote vegetable potting soil mixed with 50% perlite, PH has being stable at 6.5 through the whole grow ( I know this is bad soil now as it has slow release ferts in it, I am 4 weeks in flower and my plants have way to much N but are still looking healthy. Next time, I will be going just plain potting mix)
-Charlie Carp liquid fertilizer (for veg)
- Natures Own superbloom (for flowering)
- my temps sit between 70 at night and 75 when lights are on
- I am just using a seed I found in a bag for my first grow but my next grow I will buy some good genetics:)

I dont have any pics of when it was in seedling and veg stage (next time I will for sure:)). The main plant is exactly 4 weeks into flower (from when I switched the light to 12/12)and smelling great. The 2 clones are 1 week 4 days in flower. (could you please let me know if my main plant is looking well for 4 weeks flower?).

There is a 2" layer of perlite and yellow sticky sheets on top of my soil as I noticed a few thrips, I have no idea how the hell they got there but the perlite and bug catcher stickers seems to be working well as I haven't seen any in the soil for a week.
I think I'am going to do 1 more grow in soil and than considering a flood and drain system, as I hear plants grow much faster in a hydroponic system.

Anyway thanks for reading my rambling any feed back or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry about the pics my camera is kinda crap.

Hey man I know this is an old thread but I'm interested to know how your plants liked the Charlie carp fertilizer?

And what sort of doses were you using, hope they turned out sweet man, peace
