CIMG8901.jpgCIMG8895.jpgCIMG8899.jpgCIMG8909.jpgCIMG8885.jpgThis is my first grow this plant is about 2 weeks old since germination… Im using 6 CFL’s at 27watts 3 are 5000k, 3 are 6500k daylight, and one 13 watt 2700k spectrum since I had another slot. I made a co2 maker with a two litter and have a small window it the room for ventilation with a rotating fan. I used miracle grow perlite and a organic nitrogen rich miracle grow soil. I feed with low doses of VIAGRO 10-10-10… Any comments on my oldest plant would be appreciated, the leafs began to curl up slightly today… SEE PICS COMMENT/HELP PLEASE +REP. FROM THESE PICKS CAN ANYONE TELL THE GENDER??? LOOKS FEMALE TOO ME… Has a nice skunk smell up close as well…

plant looks good so far. i would hold off on feeding them too much , the soil has more then enough nutrients for a plant that young. i dont see any signs of the sex of the plant , you have the lights on 12/12? i wouldnt keep those other seedlings in the same pot like that . there roots are going to grow together soon. maybe take them out and put them in individual cups.

i would just leave them on 24 hours for now until you get a new timer so you keep the schedule regular. you wont see the sex until you switch them to 12/12 light schedule.

anyone know if i cut the top of this plant right??? used the topping method... this plant is about 25 days from germination, its stem is thick and strong, very bushy, but the nodes are really close and is 4.5" tall any ideas how to gain some height??? you can see before and after the top chop, i also trimmed some lower stems off...CIMG9009.jpgCIMG8977.jpgCIMG8993.jpg

I would wait topping for future ref (search "Uncle Bens topping" and you should find one of the most used tech.), she looked healthy enough, but you will need more light in later stages. To start them off your equipment will do fine.

Remember to let soil dry out before you water again, 1/4 of nute strenght when starting on them. First 14-30 days plain water, PH below 7, preferably between 6-6,5 (you could buy Universal indicator paper that will give very good indications on anything, link to one brand: http://www.camlab.co.uk/item.asp?itemid=21331&categoryid=204&browsecategoryid=307). Temp should be approx 25-30C (and thats celsius)

Good luck with the others.....
