First grow with two WW from seed...here it goes

Ok, this journal is a bit late and i am currently 22Days into flowering, but i'll start from scratch i guess.

ok...

The whole reason i decided to grow is because me and my fiance smoke weed and i have been smoking the great herb for about 6 years. i am a student and find that i am spending WAY to much on weed (drug dealers fund terrorism hehe... yeh right). i am studying music production so i am a very creative kinda guy and find that cannabis is a great help with my work. I started studying the art of growing about a year back and finaly got enough gear to start a grow. i got a 20W, 200W (CoolW) and 200W (Warm White) CFLs. I decided to grow with bio bizz all mix soil, and the bio bizz nutes (ALG A MIC, BIO GROW, BIO BLOOM, TOP MAX, BUZZ OFF) dont use any PH or humidy testing equipment. I pre-mix my warter and nutes and age it for about 3-4 days before wartering.

ok.. i started off germinating two WW seed out of a pack of ten i got. I germinated using two different methods. the damp tissue and the cup of warter method. The cup of warter method sprouted in 2-3 days and the tissue sprouted 6-7 days. when sprouted i put them in small pots under my 20W CFL with a homemade reflector on my book shelf... it had begun.

so, with my plants underway i kept the soil and my plant moist spraying a couple of times a day, with no nutes. around day 5-6 i started adding a tiny amount of nutes to my water to help them i little and slowly introduced more nutes over the next couple of weeks. keeping on a 18/6 schedual (well i say that but i just turned it on when i got up and off when i went to bed, and i go pretty late most nights) I also put the plants out on my windowcill when the weather was nice. everything was going honky dory.

over the next couple of weeks growth was looking pretty good and my plants looked nice and health, so i must be doing somthing right. If things wernt going to well i would have steped up and got the rest of the gear i needed to figure out what was wrong, such as a PH metre and so on. Up to this point they have been surviving without a fan and no air movement, so i invested in a desk fan to strengthen the stalk. At this point (the last pics) i was at full strength nutes and half stength nutes in my spray and transplanted to bigger pots. I also expirienced a overwarting problem with one of my plats, i just left it about 6-7 days before wartering again.

At this point i had moved my plants to a different location because my place couldnt handle the size that was to come, so i found a friend that would let me store and look after my babies. at this stage the bigger plant started to smell real nice and the smaller one didnt smell at all.during this period i didnt get many pics of the growth. as a tyipical noobie i got paranoyed of some browning of the leaves. I posted the problem of this site and got replies saying i was making a big deal our of nothing, so i kept an open mind on slight discollorations. As i noticed pre-flowers appearing and i had limmited space to grow i started to flower at day 25 of Veg.

within the next week and 1/2 in 12/12 they started to show sex. the tall smelly one was male. The small bushy one with no smell was a female. no problems with the plants, even though my ignorence of the fundermentals of growing.

now i only have one female WW looking nice and healthy. however, because i only vegged for 25days my plant is a bit on the small side. i topped the plant when i discoverd that my plant was definatly a female roughly about two weeks in 12/12. i have just added more light to the side of the plant to help it bush out more and been trimming and tieing to allow more light in the center of the plant.

will keep you updated with pics, any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. thanks.

Looking awesome! But my only suggestion is to not top or do any techniques like that during flowering because it puts more stress on the plant and it will put more energy into fixing those areas rather than budsites...its best to do these techniques during vegg.

ok guys, update on the grow. im now 29days in flowering and in the last couple of days there has been quite a bit of growth, looking sweet. one slight problem, i have one big fan leaf that hasnt been looking too good for the last week or so, along with some others. i dont know if its because they quite old or thes the makings of something going bad. anyway where are some updates on the pics i took today.

iam on my first try at white widow so hope it works out as it is supposed to be a filthy strain ,which i love , yours looks cool ,if you only have one female or not ,i clone from flowering plants ,takes longer to root ,but so what it works ,just a bit more time. happy smoking brother.:peace:

only got one girly. was gonna clone it but my girlfriend is parranoied because we're in a flat. good luck with your WW grow dude.

hello, just a pic update, day 51 flower and gonna havest tomorrow. i know its a bit eurly but im away for a week tomorrow so need to cut now and will let it dry over the week im away and start curing when i get back (hopefully). looking sweet and the strain is living up to its name quite white i must say.

will get back to you with the pruning pics tomorrow.

not bad for a first grow you think?

Well over the past couple of weeks i cut dryed and started curing a couple of days ago. i now have my weed smokeable and it is fucking sweet, i'd say its some of the best i've ever smoked and quite simular to the widow i had in amsterdam. well i got some pics of the buds, they aint massive but hey its all good. i dont know what i yeiled i havent got any scales. The pics aint all wat i yeiled (you know how it is, a couple of buds here and there) think i got about 1/2 oz. just wanted to say thanks for checking out my grow and to all that have helped me along my journey. THE WEED: head high, a real head fucker.

oh yeah i made a cannabis tincture with my trimmings leafs and stems. put it all in a 2litre pop bottle and added 500ml of absinthe (80%) and left to soak for about two weeks, regular shaking of the bottle. strained through a old T-shirt (didnt have anthing elce, but it stopped and matter transfering) as a filter into a glass bottle. i've heard that the longer you leave it, the stronger it gets. me and a friend had some the other night and i have never felt that kind of high, i was well and truly FUCKED.

try it, you will enjoy.

i love ur grow. im growing some WW from seed with CFLs. i also have a leaf(s) with the same kinda problems u have. i also asked the question and got told to shut up crying basicly,lol.

anyway, shes gettin there and hopefully will turn out as nice as ur grow did. +rep
