Alright, well I added another 23 watt CFL to the mix for a total of 3; 23 watt CFL's...2 warm and 1 cool (possibly) lights running on 1 plant. My plant still hasn't grown in the past 3 days. It's 10 days old now. Only has the first set of leaves and they are curling down if that means anything?

Plant is 12 days old now and in the same stage! lol...

Still has the first set of leaves...

The plant looks healthy and all. The plant SHOULD grow with the wrong light spectrum right? The plant can't just stop growing. I have 3; 23watt CFL's on it Warm spectrum.

Alright, so today I went to Home depot and got a 27 Watt Daylight CFL. I took the other 3 warm CFL's out and put the 27 watt daylight up. Hopefully I'll see some results

Update:

My plants are doing better. I germinated 4 more seeds and 3 of them sprouted. I got them in party cups for a total of 4 plant. The big one is doing well. I've noticed that one of his starter leaves (the first ones that popped out) is turning a little yellow. The 3 seeds that germinated are doing fine; one of them is popping out the soil. I have a question. Will a n 18 inch 15 watt flurecent full spectrum bulb and a 27 watt daylight CFL be enough for 4 plants? If not, will another 27 watt be enough? I have one more socket for a bulb.

well its up to you as yo what to do with that plant now. If they are 2week ols seedlings and still you see no visible growth. something aint rite there. You may just gotten unlucky and germinated a runt. Out of my 8 plants. I have 1 plant that is way ahead of the rest. 4 that are about the same size, and 3 runts. But even the runts after 10 days (today being the 10th day) i see a total of 7 or 8 leaves. there just VERY small. also i have been growing with 7 "warm" 26w cfls. I probably would have bigger plants with "daylight" bulbs due to the blue spectrum but YES warm or soft bulbs will work.

Hello,

UPDATE: The plants are growing still at a slow pace, but the oldest seedling started to grow like 4-5 more leaves and is growing a bit faster than the rest...The youngest are 3-4 weeks old already and the oldest is 4-5 weeks old. I recieved my 2, 90 bulb LED light blue spectrum 6watts and I took off all the CFL's and put those instead. I am going to transplant them all to bigger pots...

Plants are growing at a slow pace still! lol even with the new lighting. 2, 90 LED bulb 6 watt blue spectrum lights. When should I start adding nutes? I have Miracle Grow Nutrient Spikes 6-12-6 strength...Also, how many? or will the soil it has feed it for a while?

Ok, well 2 days ago I transplanted the plants to a 4 gallon Hydroponic system that I bought on ebay. My new lighting system consists of 2, 90 blue LED bulbs. The plants are all around a month old and they are still small! The biggest of them is like 2 inches high with like 6 different small leaves going in all directions. I added 1 TBS strength Dyno Grow, Grow nutrient to the water so its at 1/4 strength. I don't have a PH test kit, but it seems the plants are still growing consistently but slow! Anyone have any ideas for the slow growth?

I bought a PH test kit and checked my water and it was about 7.4 o_O so then I added an assload of Lemon Juice and lowered it down to like 6.0-6.6.

Hmm the pH has changed quite drastically over the past 24 hours. I lower the pH to about 6.0-6.6 and then a couple hours later it rises back up to 7.0+. I think I went a little to carried away with the lemon juice LOL I poured a shitload in it to reduce it down last night and this morning I checked the pH and it was a tad high so I added more to lower it. I have to change the pH about 3-4 times a day to keep it in the 6.0-6.6 area. I heard that the drastic pH change is due to the plants not having enough nutrients and when they burn all the nutrients they shit out a alkaline base thus raising my pH so I added 2 more tbs of Dyna Gro nutrients for a total of 3 tbs in the tank atm so at 3/4 strength if the required amount is 1 tbs for 1 gallon. My tank reservoir is 4 gallons. Also, I received HIGH quality seeds today and was wondering of just dumping my shit bagseed and just starting fresh with the high quality seeds...Any thoughts? Maybe I just got bad bagseed and the damn plant won't grow?

I thought about it and I really want to start a new grow, so could I just flower my seedlings already? I heard plants really grow fast during flowering mode. They are like 2 inches tall! lol with just 2-6 small serrated leaves on them. I'm not expecting a big yield with these guys lol. The month of vegging is over for all of them...

Hello,

Plants are a bit bigger and starting to grow a few leaves here and there...Any ideas on the extremely slow growth? I've seen plants 5x bigger than mine at just a week old and mine are a month and a half old...

the problem with the changing ph is cause lemon juice is not very stable and the ph will raise. try vinegar.

OMFG my parents found my grow!!! they took out 3 plants...They left 1 and said I can grow 1 only...I'm gonna dedicate all the lights I have to 1 plant. Hopefully it will grow fast. If this plant comes out a male, I am gonna punch some babies
