by the way nubbis they are looking good. I'd give it another week till you see any signs of sex, when the pistols come they come quick and when the balls come they come quick as well. good luck man I know I need some.
 
bro theres nothing wrong with getting the balls coz all the ones i get get turned into sticky icky goldies
 
I might salvage the pollen if I do get a male. I want to eventually start breeding plans. Although I am really hoping they are females because I just picked up some cloning compound today. Equipment porn. (still working on that new light though) equipment.jpg
 
update of the only survivor. BCN Diesel Auto (which is not auto, this bitch will veg until you flip the lights and get tall as hell until you do) is very resistant to everything and I would recommend it to a beginner. my favorite seed site is singleseedcentre.com.

You've got quite a collection of seeds. I have a question mdjenks. Have you ever had little red spots show up on your leaves?
 
I'm guessing a nitrogen toxicity. The fox farm grow big nutrient solution I have been using has a high amount of nitrogen and I think I have been feeding at more than full strength. I noticed a little nute burn as well. I am definitely going to change the water in my reservoir tomorrow and switch to bloom nutrients and only use a very low dose. Ever since I started using the fox farm grow big nutrients the little red dots started appearing. Last night I noticed they are getting bad, so I have to do something about it. I would post pics, but my camera is not working right now.
 
So after a week and a day of flowering both plants, sex still hasn't shown. All the plants are doing is stretching and growing. No visible bud sites or any pollen sacks or pistils or anything of that matter. If anything it seems as if the plant is still vegetating somehow under 12/12 light cycle.
 
If you think you are going to mess it up, get more than one seed. Also. go feminized. Also use the k.i.s.s. method. Which stands for keep it simple stupid. There is a lot of information on this site, good and bad. Just read up on people's posts and ask for advice from veteran members. Most of the time no one gets their first grow right. It takes time, and you make mistakes and you learn from them.

That's true..think I am wanting to try "SOG" method sounds easy and fast :-P :leaf:
 
I'm not even sure what SOG method is. I have seen it posted all around the forums but never took the time to look it up. There are so many techniques to growing. I have used a few in my current grow. I topped my plant. Super cropped a couple branches and used LST quite a bit on it. It could be a mother plant it is so bushy and vegged.
