Dont fall for all victim to the expensive "grow" industry. You dont need all these fancy fertilizers, ph meters and distilled water. I use TAP (after letting it sit for 24hrs) and NEVER check my Ph. Trying to germinate in water or paper towels in not a natural way to do things and you will lose a few seeds this way. You need a perfect air to water ratio to properly germinate. Its MUCH easier to use this to grow from seed or clone

Star nursery sells a bag of this for 4$ and it will last you a long time. But most importantly you will have great results!
People dont know this but star nursery also sells their own brand of soil, i forget what they call it but its a rebagged sunshine mix #4. It comes in a blue bag. I find it to be MUCH better then anything youll find made by Fox farm.

isn't sunshine mix a soiless medium that you need to add lots of stuff to or constantly fertilize? it's also not that cheap. it's in the neighborhood of what roots or fox farms costs.
I hear you about not being a sucker to the grow industry. I don't buy any expensive, gimicky fertilizers. I buy stuff at a normal nursery (plant world), but, I do buy good soil. I've gotten better results out of roots soil than anything else i've used. cheap or expensive.

just wondering how you do your process
So they all have been topped tonight. Hope I did it right, will see what happens, I think I watched enuf YouTube videos.... I had a little spike in temps last nite to 87 plants were droopy but its all good now. I have to make room for my autos now. Changing subjects how and where do you dry? Researched some about drying in my tent but not when there is an active crop growing. Kinda confused on what to do or the best method to use

any available closet space will do card board box get some string small fan make sure it is dark no light can get in and thats all you need and dry for 7 days thats what I did got that off you tube lol!!! JB

thats whats up bro ask for help anytime just remember ya girls love the foliage spray it well keep them healthy and lush but yea the other way to do the drying is the expensive way with the carbon filter and a new grow tent (if you dont have a closet that you can use) also a drying rack from the hydro store or you can get them for cheap on ebay yea last time when I had to harvest I uesed my closet a fan and a cardboard box with some string that went across the box so i could hang the buds thats the bum style or home made but it workes so you have to pick the made up drying style or expensive official setup me aventually ill go the official way when im ready!!! JB

I just hang my buds on wire coat hangers and put them in the dark in a closet. It usually only takes about 3 days for them to dry out enough to put in jars for curing.

yea it had a very strong aroma only when I opened the door where it was drying at but what stink bro it smile so amazing lol!!! to me
but the wife
