Well here it goes, from over dried no smell bud, first you need to remoisten with something mainly water based like a piece of lettuce and seal for several hours til the buds soften back up, now there are several ways you can do this, the easiest way is to throw some dank bud in there with it to get the same smell (note this will not change potency) and just let it set for a day or so then check them, or instead you may not have dank bud laying around to steal the smell off of, so you can go with citrus fruits pineapple, lime, lemon, to or even fruity smelling cereal fruity pebbles, fruit loops, etc.. and let the buds draw the smell from that, now if your bud was put in the jar to soon simply let them sit out a whole day or 2, and check them it should be no softness to them the wet grassy smell should either be gone, or faint, then start the cure process again.I'll take input in that area, chief! Let's hear it!
I'm interested in figuring out how I can change the smellHow often do you burp them, and you may wanna let them dry a bit more if they are still getting really soft after a week, by that time they should be firm yet lightly soft but if you jar them and they form to the shape of the jar you know you put them in to soon
P.s. You can manipulate the smell if you want there are ways if you need help with it just let me know.
Thanks for the input will try one of those methodsWell here it goes, from over dried no smell bud, first you need to remoisten with something mainly water based like a piece of lettuce and seal for several hours til the buds soften back up, now there are several ways you can do this, the easiest way is to throw some dank bud in there with it to get the same smell (note this will not change potency) and just let it set for a day or so then check them, or instead you may not have dank bud laying around to steal the smell off of, so you can go with citrus fruits pineapple, lime, lemon, or even fruity smelling cereal fruity pebbles, fruit loops, etc.. and let the moist buds draw the smell from that, now if your bud was put in the jar to soon simply let them sit out a whole day or 2, and check them it should be no softness to them the wet grassy smell should either be gone, or faint, then start the cure process again.
P.s. Keeping a moving fan on them on low while they hang dry should really help keep the smell and get rid of the grass smell, also when they say let them dry till they snap or til they almost snap were it cracks but not break(this is better in my opinion as this keeps the bud sticky), but please be patient and let them dry accordingly.
