Hi, im new to the forums and ive begu my first grow. I wanted to see your opinions and what i can do to maximize my plant growth, maximize my yield without exceeding my limits.
I currently have 4 plants growing.One of them is about 8 days old today the others are alll about 5 days old.
All the seeds are from northern lights and headies bud.
I am using over cfls, and florescent strips at the moment. The lights are all meant for lizards and natural vivariums. They give off 10.0 uvb and one of the strip bulbs gives off full spectrum i think its 6400.
I know miracle grow is bad but it is all i was able to use at the moment. Im using a mixture of miracle grow with a small amount of vermeculite in the soil. At the bottome of each of those cups are drainige holes.
I will soon be moving all of my plants into a 2 x 2 x 4 homebox i attached a link buy-the-homebox.com - universal indoor grow box kit
In this i will have 3 cfls over the lights at all time from 6 am to 11 pm for the growth state. Im considering using an hps but i probably will not be able to use it because of my electricity regulation. The box is going to be in a closet and the lights are going to becoming off of a power cord. Once the plants get larger i will put a few strips in there or maybe upgrade to 6 cfls.
I wanted to begin by asking what is the best way to keep my stems as strong and sturdy as possible?
I noticed one of my plants definatly is strecching even the the light is within an inch of it.
Becuase of i only have 4 feet for growth, what is the best way to keep my plants bushy and large at the same time?
How can i get my plants to grow at the fastest rate possible without having them stretch or grow poorly.
On this page im also going to post pictures weekly or for events that seem important. Is there anything else that any of you guys see that i really need to fix?
Also do any of you know of any very good autflowering strains that you can purchase online (seeds)
