first grow :)

Started these babies on seeds the 7th of the month, running 6 6500k cfls just a couple inches above the plants, ive also fimmed them today, Wanted to post these pics and give a shoutout to everyone that posts helpful info on here. switching to hps for flower in a couple of weeks.

Going to make the switch over to HPS soon though, flowering stage is right around the corner, maybe 2 more weeks or so i hope anyway

love the pvc fixture. I started from seeds on the first although your babies look much healthier then mine. whats soil mixture are you using? can I get some more details?

my mixture is honestly i couldn't tell you, i got the soil from a friends house with all kinds of animals on it, so a mixture of many many different manures. and just from reading from this sight, Airflow, lighting and NOT overwatering seem to be the keys to a healthy and happy plant. i keep my cfls about 2 inches maybe 3 at the most away from the colas, and everytime their leaves are reaching to the lights, i lay them flat, its been giving me nice tight node spacing and really really strong stems.
