First grow?

I checked to make sure there was no bananas and I bought a digital timer know it's in five am and five pm each day

Yup just make sure to check that timer if you unplug it and plug it back in or a power outage. If it does not have a backup battery that keeps the clock going (like the old alarms) it will reset and you wil need to re-program the 12/12.

You will not see any banana or sacs until after a couple weeks into flower and after the plants sex shows, just keep monitoring. I would read up on hermies during this time so you are 100% prepared. My first grow I stressed my plants during veg while I was learning so 2 of 3 plants were throwing some bananas by flower time. I kept it in check daily by carefully pinching them off as they came for a few weeks until harvest.

Nice you have a bigger space? That blue dream is going to be a beast it will probably at least double in size during flower
OK thanks for the info. Yes I do have a spare room with a tent that's ready in my veg room I bought one just in case I get better at it so then I can growth more at a time

If you can't figure out the analog timer good luck with the digital you should top all of those after you start flower or they will outgrow your space

The plants have gone through an alien world light cycle. I would not top these with HST (high stress training) at this point and especially if they are going to 12/12 now. I would opt for some LST bending and stakes now to manage the height. the stretch will happen from week 1 to week 3. Topping should be done prior to flowering. He just needs to be aware now that they things will be monsters after 4+ months of vegging which is 3 months more than I would ever do lol.

Well as soon as I see the changes I will get on it

Any advice, first time

Sent from my SM-A520F using Rollitup mobile app

First, start a new thread for yourself so its focus can be about you.

Second you need to provide more details on the plants and its setup environment. You need more light and the CFL should be very close to the plant (~4"). use your hand to gauge heat.

Third, unless you are trying to hide your plant from detection by UFO's, you can take that tinfoil off the pot.

cover that window up with light block curtain, Amazon will get it to you for under 40 bucks tomorrow. You don't want light leaking into your flower tent at all through zippers or seams or any stitching area. The brighter the outside of the tent, the more likely light can make it way in.

Yeah I dont think the light cycle will hurt them at all if you think there's that much stress chop the whole thing an start over. Topping will stunt growth LST will just reroute growth I stand by my advice to top I've topped plenty of times during flower to stunt growth a little it has never had a negative affect. If you have room for that plant to triple in size leave it alone. But I'm guessing you don't have 10 feet of headroom to work with

Zipper leaks and seams are fine unless they are really bad. Maybe there's another reason you have had hermie issues I've had 1 plant hermie in 5 years well 1 branch of the plant got about 10 seeds total. They are weeds after all they can handle quite a bit of stress.
