First grows chop day. Did anyone else feel this sad on their first chop?

weird! I asked about 24/0 because the only time I’ve had an auto go more than 10-12 weeks in flower was under 24/0....when I do (rarely) grow autos, I put them on same schedule as the photos they are sharing a tent with to fill space. My “pro grower” friend says “you HAVE to grow autos on 24/0 or you are missing weight” which may be true, but in my personal experience with autos more hours of light = MORE time to mature. It also has something to do with pot size and their crazy long tap roots, because an auto in a bigger pot seems to grow until it reaches the bottom before it ever starts pistil formation. Probably a 100 different opinions on autos here however....great job, enjoy the smoke you earned it!

Thank you! I tried giving her more light during flower and she seemed to slow down even more! She didn't like 12/12 and didn't like 20/4 during flower either, both times she slowed down. I put her back one 14/10 and went back to normal, even tho her "normal" flowering was still extremely slow. I think the next Autos I run will be from FastBuds, hopefully I have better luck with those beans lol. I have another plant in veg right now but it was a freebie and I have no idea what it is so i'm calling it Mystery Freebie
I dont play favorites and am not affiliated with any breeder or company....but I strongly suggest you go with Mephisto for autos. I’ve grown out a bunch of their strains, and in MY OPINION only, they are the most stable, consistent and STRONG genetics I’ve grown out...in autoflower varieties. If you like sativas that make your head buzzzz you will love Mephisto’s Fantasmo or The White strain (if you can still get beans for those crosses).if you like couchlock and relaxation ,try their Samsquanch OG. I’ve grown bothFantasmo and Samsquanch multiple rounds, and they always look the same, behave the same, grow similarly and consistently, and will provide you with medicine that easily rivals the strongest photoperiods. In fact, I had a pot snob friend try some of my well cured Ghost Train Haze#1 and compare to my well cured Mephisto’s Fantasmo (a Ghost Train-Ruderalis cross) and she had no clue which was which...Mephisto is the absolute top of the line for autos in MY OPINION only.
and I’ve never had Mephisto bean that even noticed the light schedule...i always get sad because they flower so FAST, and always think “I wish that auto had had time to grow bigger”!

I was in between Mephisto and Fast Buds. Ill try both eventually but Mephisto has been sold out for a few weeks now

Yeah man I remember the day I chopped my first plant... I’m still trying to forget that sad day.. it got even worse after the sad bad cure and every other rookie mistake I could make...
I wanted to kill her ass to fast.. she smelled like she was ready... chopped her ass early and the rest was history... all I could do was promise myself to NEVER make those noobie mistakes again.. experience... u gotta love/live it...
