First harvest for me

This is my first time growing and first harvest. I did a lot of things wrong but I sure have learned what not to do and what to do next time! This group is great and I appreciate what goes into growing. I still have lots of questions and will continue to add To my knowledge base to make a better yield and quality.
I grew three strains. Strawberry Banana, Kali Mist and Skywalker. Skywalker gave me fits with two of the three plants turning hermie on me. My fault. I know I stressed them and over fertilized them at 12/12. None of the other plants turned hermie so I’m happy with that.
The excitement of cutting and trimming buds is crazy!
I look forward to reading about your grows and woes and someday I’ll be giving advice when I am ready!

Trichomes were starting to amber. I did wait on one Strawberry Banana and will watch it closely. As far as the others they appeared to have 70-100% of the hairs darkened (70% on one and the others were 100% dark and curled in).

Spider farm LED SF 2000, three units 12 plants. That was pushing it I believe but the Strawberry Banana grew 4’8”

With no reflective material around them... honestly thats fantastic

CHeck trichomes on calyxes. Sugar leaf trichs aren’t a good indicator as they turn faster. Not saying anything negative about the bud but personally I’d take it longer. I don’t even need to see trichs to know Id take it longer. I go for 20-25% estimated amber for a stronger and longer lasting high. I take every plant over 70 days no matter what it is. I’ll never go back to harvesting earlier
