While the reasoning behind most of these "techniques" sound logical, that doesn't mean they are.. an extra 24 hours may indeed allow the plant to collect lighter terpenes and get any last bit of thc out without risk of degredation from the following light period. Makes sense however we have already let a sizeable portion degrade when we see amber heads, those particular glands are done producing thc and will not produce any more even during the following dark period...same logic applies to flushing, sure it sounds logical...sort of. The idea that your removing nutes from buds to make them taste/burn cleaner. However a deficiency is defined as lacking 10% or more of a nute, if the buds were indeed being "flushed" they would look like the fan leaves yellowing. The buds retain the exact same levels of all nutes before and after the flush that is in essence the fan leaves job. To keep the buds from yellowing...um I kinda forgot what I was saying and I don't like to reread and stuff.. but yea I personally don't flush however the plant will naturally need less nutes. I also haven't noticed a difference between buds picked at the end of day and at the beginning of light...in other words......wives tales bro, just my personal opinion
