Well a marijuana plants what? probably like 80 percent water. It probably did help speed up the drying process to an extent. Your saying your stems are still bending, that's a good sign there's still some moisture in there. bud smoke-able yet? Do you have intentions on curing any of the bud?

No way two days is enough. At that temperature I would guess minimum a week, particularly if you are drying it in one piece and not hanging it by colas.

Drying time is directly related to the humidity of your area. I'm in Michigan, very humid summers, very dry winters. In summer if I have something drying, it usually takes 2-5 days maximum, even with the humidity. In winter it can be as little as 36 hours until the buds are crispy and I almost worry if they've gotten too dry. Summer is better for me because I crank the AC which helps with the humidity, but it's so dry in winter that my cuttings never hang for more than two days. Again, it all depends on the humidity of your area. Cut two plants, trimmed, hung in closet with door open for air circulation. This was Monday the 2nd, This afternoon they were almost crispy, stems cracking, but not really breaking. And for what it's worth, don't believe the line that it needs to be in total darkness while drying. Yes, light will degrade THC, but normal room lighting as opposed to bright, direct light will do little to no harm. Just too many damned myths and false info going around these days,,,,,,
