because you can pretty much bet on 20-25% of wet weight in the end.... so one can make a decent estimate on final yield directly after manicuring

20-25% according to you.. 30-35 according to him.. theys is sayin 40%..

ah but i see yur point. its all wishful thinking.. i like brass tacks let me know when it done.

(I have not done this personally only because i use MH bulbs for nothing and have none) It is my understanding that in the last 2 weeks of flower it is better to use the MH bulb because of the light spectrum.. Now this information has been learned not proven by myself. If i were to do something small like that i would look into changing out the bulbs

WHAT... If you were to run both lights for the duration of the grow.. I hope to try this someday.

I would say 3 ounces for total yield..not bad for a first grow though...

there are 1000w dual spectrum lights hortilux they run like $219.00 the dude at the shop i go to was showing them to me cuz i was asking about the dual lights its supposed to do great things was thinking about giving it a try with a 400w mh and a 600w hps next go ...

A "1000w" dual arc bulb is NOT 1000w worth of light. Its 600w worth of light in one spectrum, with 400w worth of the other. Also, the globes are MUCH more inefficient than single arcs, so the 600w side may only be 400 true watts anyways...

Get a 600w hps, and a 400w mh, and run 2 cooltubes next to each other, under a huge batwing reflector...it will accomplish the same thing, but with much more penetration and energy output.

The reason a MH bulb is advantageous towards the end of the grow, is UVB is produced by MH bulbs...and trichs are produced more abundantly in the presence of UVB. You could accomplish the same thing by getting a UVB lamp from your reptile store...run it on a timer...15 mins on, 45 mins off...thc develops under UV, but is also broken down by it...So we want the plant to know theres uv there so it produces, but not lose too much thc to degradation.

Maybe 1/4 - 1/2 pound after drying off a 400 watter...definitely better than my first grow is going

yes i tried it and omg it was great i was literally fucked for a few hours ...made alot of cannabutter..lol...and its gone allready alot of people liked it....total yield dry was a little over 5 zips. not bad for first time.
