First Hempy Grow. 400w HPS + 150w HPS. Week 3 Flower

Three weeks into flower. Blue dream, Tahoe OG, and Blueberry. First time using hempy buckets. I was using DWC but res issues forced me to switch. Growth gates with hempys seem very comparable to DWC. Using 2 gal buckets.
Lights: 400w hps + 150w hps

Looking really nice there, you got some good strains too. I just harvested one Tahoe and came out really good. The blue dream will be really easy to grow, atleast mine was. What kinda nutes are you using ?

Right on. Thanks man. Looking forward to the harvest. I have been using Dutchmasters One nutes for veg and flower.

Thanks! Hempy referes to a passive hydroponic method of growing, whereby one uses all perlite or a mixture of perlite and vermiculite as growing medium. It works fantastically well in my opinion. Virtually impossible to over-water and awesome growth rates.
 
Hey nice job im also using the hempy bucket method but im doing autos...My haze and syrup diemos and whitedwarf they r all doing well....Just waiting for them to turn into buds instead of a shit load of pistals hairs whatever they r lol...Hempy makes everything very easy...Been flowering for about 8 days since day 25...But keep up the great work

Thanks man. I'm using a 48" x 24" x 58" tent. Its a tight fit, but a fairly even canopy.

I water about every 4 days. I had a bit of a nute burn problem with my tahoes, so I recently flushed as well.

I'm experimenting with a hempy bucket side by side with a little DWC to compare the growth, but I like the simplicity of the hempy bucket for sure.
 
Hempy is definitely nice if res temps prevent one from running dwc. Less equipment to run and I definitely use less nutes with hempy over dwc. Now if only I could figure out a way to do a scrog in my tent with the hempys. hmmm.
 
Now just about on week 8. Going to let them all go one more week. Then its chop time.

Been wanting to do a hempy grow for a while now.....nice looking girls.....plus rep....happy growing
