Yep . Gotta love growing pains as we all go though them . Cotton candy ( herbies freebie) went herm. Yes it released it's pollen :cuss::fire:....:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::evil:........ I'm hoping my other tent is not pollinated ( first week of flower ) . I'm assuming the worst and just going to think it's all doomed .ohwell trial and error . I'll be ready to finish these 7 weeks . And after that ill be doing a sea of green with Amos Otis favorite strain C99 and bomb seeds Ice Bomb . No more long veg times and growing 5ft plants . Hopefully no more herms ...!!!

foliar optic (Switch) if your worried you may have pollinated your other room. initial spray all over the plant, wait 10 days and do it again. I used it on my last grow when a hermie popped in my room.

COTTON CANDY IMO is a him/she fucktard.

Every bud himshe grew had nanas.

Then upon harvesting I found a shrivelled male appendage on the bottom of the plant.

Another strain next to the himshe had about 20 seeds.

My other plants in the room miraculously were fine, no seeds or nanas anywhere.

That's not the best news that one would want to hear, but you can still get some good smoke (on the bright side). If your tents are side by side, you might consider putting extra fans outside the good tent and blow them right at the other tent to keep any escape pollen (doesn't take much) away from the good tent. I had to do that a couple years ago on side by side tents (one tent hermied) and it worked great. I still got good smoke out of the hermied tent. You could also take the hermies that you know of and move them outside somewhere to finish. IMO. Peace

I chopped her down . I don't mess with she/males . Oh well I'll just sift through the buds.

U should have kept it man everyone says down a hermie and save the sinse but u just stressed your grow topping and chopping scroggin and stuff. Me personally I would have kept her and collected seeds from the whole garden and started over. People encourage manipulating these plants but some strains are not strong enough to handle that shit genetically I mean and those same strains r usually the most potent

The only thing hermies will do is fuck up your garden. Theres nothing to keep them bastards for, they're fucked up genetics or messed up otherwise.
Now if its nothing more than throwing a few nanners in the last weeks of flower that may be a different story.

I believe that any cannabis plant may become hermaphrodite. Less than optimal growing conditions and stress causes this to happen as well as genetics. It's all in the eye of the beholder or the experience of the grower. I understand that no one wants seed weighted buds in their ops and that's cool. Yet some of the world's oldest and finest strains hermie all the time, for example Colombian gold is one of those strains. Still doesn't give any grower reason to crap on a strain that due to their lack of grow experience they couldn't tame. One man's meat is another man's poison.

The only plants that I remove from garden r pure males, hell I even preserve some of these when I plan to breed. Then again I only use bag seed nowadays I mean some of the dirtiest brick u have ever laid eyes on when treated with all the love they deserve have produced nothing but kickass product that lay waste to many of these junk and may I add expensive phenotypes sold in today's seedbank market.

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to neutralize the pollen sacks on a hermie and keep the buds for rainy day smoke in between grows. I am not a teacher I grow using jorge's bible just like other folks like I said my friends have put several market strains up against my bag seed sativas and indicas and were sent back home holding my clones close to their hearts I am just saying . Notice my picture of sebastian Shaw he represents my much older much purer landrace buds and the other two guys r high quality phenos it's just my own biased opinion. You grow sweet fruit my brother but heavy grows that Gas!

I also am a stash grower so every other grow I like to perform light experiments just to test the variability of these mystery strains I grow. Then again my seed supply is so big that I can grow for 10 lifetimes and still have tons of seed. I rarely do sog anymore because I just don't have the time that it takes to maintain such an op.

Right on brother healthy debates are always good for morale. I would never argue though it's all love man . I have grown some of the wickedest purples from some shut that looked like tree bark it was so brown lol. I agree with you man just keep the plant alive enjoy a good bowl for me I'm in timeout mode. I take months off in between grows keeps my tolerance nice and balanced.
