Ok so here it is...after years of reading an months of thoughts and weeks of
Hell I finally got 3 little darling to wake up. I started with 6 but I've had hell
Getting everything working together. I started in floral foam and at about
Week 1 after they popped I got worried I had no nutes as most soil growers
Do so I feed them twice daily at 1/4 streghnt. This was a bad mistake 2 babys
Killed over instantly the other a few days later. So on week two and a half
After a few flushes and folair feeds later I finally as of yesterday started running
My pump. So my set up is as follows
10 gallon tub for res.
4 gallon tube for tray
173gmh pump
Small airpump 5" bubble stone
4 42w cfl
1 250w mh
Grown in hydroton and small 2x2 floral foam blocks
Feeding with gh maxi grow with 1 table spoon of epsom salt per 5 gallons
I've just started feeding nutes I'm at 590 ppm at 6.11 ph 3 times a day
My questions and concerns come in here now I know that with a ebb and flow system
When they tray drain it pulls clean fresh oxygen down through the rocks and
To the roots mos people flood for 15 min and you should actually take time it takes to
Drain and multiply x3 to get your oxygen time then flood again.
My concern is with this small system I built it takes 3 min to flood and 7 to drain
That's a lot of floods a day with 20 on 4 off. Can anyone lead me to a good decision on my flood times
Here are a few pics. Yes I know I burnt them but they recoverd very nicely I think
Thank you for your help in advance

Yea you don't need to flood ever 21 min. If you flood that thing every 2 to 4 hrs you'll be fine. Your plants wont be so sensitive to the flooding as the root mass grow farther away from your cube. Why floral foam? Rock wool isnt that expensive and way better. I don't think the droop you are talking about is from feeding at night. It is probably something enviromental temp humid using up the co2 something like that.

well actually i was wondering that cause my water temp is 21.5c and actually room temp in grow table is 22.5 with fan on it so im actually going to go get a heat lamp tonight and try to keep it alittle higher maybe around 78-80f. Im haveing some trouble with my res molding over it maybe cause i havent been running it in a about 31 hours its just sat but im not to sure yet. I just bleached it and H2o2 as best i could maybe that will help it get out im actually going to give them today with no water at all ill water around 1am which is there wake up time. I just hear everyone say no water no nutes for atleast 3 weeks im bearly going on 2 weeks here and not sure if im going to cause root rot with this amount of water or even water stress causeing my baabys to male out but thanks for advice and any think else you can think of would be nice ty

actually floral faom is all i had available to me this is a remote area i mean i gotta drive like 50 miles to get water lol but either way i think it holds alittle to much water but the florests say that every rewater will drain it and put fresh in it same as rockwool we will see i ordered some for my next grow this is just my experiment grow so no need and going all out right.
