I started my first hydro grow in an 18 gal. tote with 6 plants also.I found it to be difficult to take care of the plants and they were to crowded,so now I have them in there own 5 gal buckets and its much better.that tote will be good for veg as long as the roots dont all grow togeather, another problem I had.the 5 gal. buckets are easyer to move around if you have to.my next grow will be with 5 gal. buckets that are linked togeather and a res. with a pump to circulate the soloution.and make changing the res and flushing much easyer,I have been learning along the way with my first indoor hydro grow and have learned alot as you will to.Im headed into my 8th week of flower,my buds are so heavy I had to tie them up,cant wait till there ready. good luck peace and grow on

Go to attitude seed bank. I get all my seeds from them and I always get them in 6 days with no problems plus they have all kinds of free seeds and promotional offers. Your system looks great man but I would have to agree with snocat, buckets are the way to go. A little piece of advice is to drill your holes for air lines etc. on the side of your bucket/bin up top right under the lip of the lid. This allows you to change your water without messing with hoses and other stuff.

you can also put a water level gauge on it,just get a 1/2" 90 and a 1/2" rubber gromet and around a foot or so of 1/2" hose,I use the stuff with a blue tint to it,it helps to keep the light out,I drill my holes to 5/8" the package says 11/16 but thats to loose and may leak, mine did.after you got your hole drilled as close to the bottom you can,put the hose on and use a gallon jug to fill the bucket and mark it on the hose for each gallon then you know how much you need to add back and also you now have a way to drain the bucket if you have to. good luck peace and grow on
