first indoor grow any suggetions

now my leaves are drying out really bad i have moved my light higher and now waiting for them to wake up we transplanted yesterday would that have anything to do with it? i will have pics later

Hey,
I've always been told to leave new transplants out of the light for a bit (1/2 day)
I don't know if that has anything to do with it... but something more to remember.
Hope she's thriving again soon.

thanks that is something i dnt know yeah we dnt lose any of them thank god they just dryed out on me but there doing fine now

Did you come up on your light setup in Amazon?Is it a Metal Halide/HPS combo?Digital Dimmable Ballast or Magnetic?

Is your light an Air-Cooled hood?if your room is a 8x8x10 you'll need a 435 CFM Inline fan to exhaust that heat out of your room.youll have to have the exhaust duct going into another room in your house.then you'll need to exchange the air in your grow room at least every 1-3 minutes for 6-8 minutes bringing in fresh air to replace the depleted Co2.im doing that right now.if you don't have inline fans to remove the hot air you'll need to make a hole in your wall low for fresh incoming air & a hole high to exhaust the old air.Google it its called Passive & non-passive air intakes & exhaust.

i would have to look into that yeah my light is a hps 400 watt digital ballast with the dimmer and no i got it on sale from a site called yeild lab

If the temps are too high, you should focus on fixing those instead of supplementing CO2. It will make a much bigger difference.

It can definitely get too hot for plants to grow good buds. CO2 is usually only a problem if you have so many plants that they're using up all off the CO2 in the available air.

CO2 works but it's best to have your entire system really dialed-in to get the most benefits. try to keep temps mid to high 70s. maybe have to look into an air cooled reflector. if you do add CO2 later, you'll need one then.

okay i got ya i have the problem solved with a portable a/c i just have to save for the controller with a photocell to control the temp better
