First indoor grow, coco coir, blackjack

so im supposed to cure it in jars for a day and then rehang them? whats the purpose of doing that,if i may ask? i dont really understand it, but im sure you could help fix that cuz you seem pretty well-informed

Exactly.
When you put them in a closed container the humidity evens out and the humidity in the center of the buds goes to the outer part.
If you quick dried them with overventing you should have a lot of inner humidity, enough to wet all the buds even if they seem crisp.

I'm starting to grow some blackjack also. Your crop looked amazing. I can't wait to hear how it smokes! I have no idea what the weight will be, but I know I'd be satisfied!

well i took a closer look at the buds today and a few of the stems would snap but most were close to it, so i jarred them up and weighed them out, hoping that the inner humidity will move outwards as McFonz had explained. I was expecting around 4 ounces but i ended up with 5.53 Ounces (or 156.5 grams) All of the blackjack nugs are very dense and look absolutely fantastic. The Trainwreck buds look great too, they are just a little less dense and the floral clusters arent very uniform and round, they are more chaotic and jumping out at all angles hahaha. Im very pleased with the results of this grow Here's a pic of the Sweet ones jarred up How many times per day should i open up the jars, and how long should i leave the lids off before reclosing?

o my sweet lord, after curing for just two days the two cola Trainwreck (not the one i added butterscotch flavoring too) somehow smells like extremely strong sweet butterscotch. it is the most unique smelling weed i've ever smelt this is very exciting

i made bubble hash with all of the trimmings and got about 6 grams of some of the best hash i've ever smoked in my life. The high is superb

You should burp the jars once a day, leaving the cap off for 15 minutes or so.
On the second week you should burp once every 2 days.
From the third week on you should burp twice a week.
It all depends on how moist the buds were to begin with, so if you stash is too moist let it go without the lid for a day.

A lot of the smells and tastes come out after curing. I'm going to try out a 4 months cured Lemon Skunk (by Greenhouse Seeds) I forgot about in the bottom of my grow closet. I'm sure it will be different from the last time I've tried it while it was cured for a week.

the smoke is extremelyy smooth. all of my friends and i noticed a spicy fruity taste on the exhale. The quality of the high has been described as "unique" by many people. It is the ultimate combination of head and body high with an extra comfort feeling that i dont get from even most 100% indicas. truly a spectacular strain in every way

very inspiring sir. i have a Blackjack a week into flowering myself. I have a much shorter space to work with, but id say our set ups are nearly identical!! lol. those buds look sick man, bookmarking this for comparison.. ill be back in 2 months to see whos is better!! lol =b

This has to be my favorite grow on here. I've seen good ones but this is great. You've inspired me to grow with coco coir. Awesome first grow +rep
