First indoor grow, multiple strains, many pictures!

thanks for the kind words Kron. Two days ago the OG kush was transplanted into a 7 gallon pot. here is a pic of it today

The last seedling showed sex and it ended up a female, so i transplanted the rest of the plants into 3 gallon containers with some cheap organic soil, they really love the Fox farms grow big. they are really taking off

You got them under a T right now right? how much room to you have to grow, you could always veg for another month and make monsters or do a couple weeks of flowering under the T5 before the HPS gets there, is the comp delaying the shipment or you have to wait to get it? IF your waiting on them you should see about cancelling with someone like HTG supply they got some good prices got my 400W less than a week from ordering

Yes they are under a t5. they are already touching each side of the closet , and i am not purchasing the light i am getting it from my brother once his plants are finished, would five plants that were vegged for two months flower under one 600 watt good? any advice thanks.

By the looks of it they are growing vertically, so you should be fine. the plants from seeds will tend to grow upward more than the clones which from my experience have produced plants of the bushier variety. i veg for two months or more so i can get plants that are four or five feet tall. And for flowering they seem to like it under my two 400 watt lights, although i do have to supplement the bottom with extra CFLs.

Or you could just start turning your t5 off for 12 hours a day to induce flowering once you know your brother is almost ready to give up his light..

I would say 5 plants under a 600 will be good Im going to be doing 5 under my 400W Right now I have three flowering under it and they are loving it

thanks for the advice guys, im scared they are gonna over grow this closet. they already touching every side! i think im gonna do 12/12 with the t5 a week before i get the light, he is saying its gonna be close to month maybe three weeks. we will see.

you wont have any problems switching the hormone production over to flower with t5s and if you start the early flowering stages with nothing else and then add (keeping the t5 as sup lighing) your hps light you wont be able to directly compound the lumens but the added lumens and spectrum would do wonders because the main kolas are going to have already decideded not to grow up anymore (lacking the 90k plus lumens to stretch it out during flower) and will bulck up IMMENSLY with the hps added. althugh if you do retain the t5 tubes you are going to notice that it will conintue to grow out and as such you might want to trim some of the largest fan leaves to allow for deeper light pen (canopy only it will slow upwards growth) and then tie some of the branches togther with bread ties at the flexible base of of the shoots. just a suggestion and only what i would do but triming it back a little bit in your situation might end up inevatable when you add all the heat from a hps to a room that size, it would allow for better transduction of air and would keep humidity within the canopy down. but looks great and keep up the grow work. stay medicated.

Hey guys sorry for the long ass delays, just been really busy, was tired of waiting for my brothers grow to finish up so i went ahead and bought a 600 watt hps, it was 350$ since i dont trust buying stuff online, but all is well with the plants and such. i promise you guys pics tommorow if anyone is interested, these plants are getting huge, they are only on day three of flowering, i regret the long veg time but i didnt have money before then to get the light. All in all i got one question if anyone wouldnt mind helping out, i am wondering how much molasses to feed them and how often, i will be getting the ffof flowering nutrients this week, but am wondering about the molasses, thanks guys!

I have heard 1 table spoon of molasses per gallon of water 1 time a week for the last 3 weeks. Just what I was informed

oh i see, thanks, so molasses isnt useful when they first are in flower?

molasses is better when used in convert ith the organisms that eat it, such as when you make a compost tea, but can be used through out the growing process, in fact many store sold nutes are nothing more then molasses
