first indoor grow, need light help

My first indoor grow, my friend gave me a 4 inch hash plant, looks very healthy, will a 100w uvb light from my iguana and an led grow light work well?

also i have been keeping my uvb light on for about 14 hours with the led light, and i leave the led light on 24 hours, my friend told me that the light should be on for 24 hours is this true?

ur ganna need a better light then that..u broke? go get a good light then..id say at least a 250watt hps or mh and u can add ur lizard light but that alone wont do much..and yes u can veg 24hours a day or 18 hours a day then when u want it to bud u do 12 hours a day

If you want to just veg it and let it grow it's 18 hours on 6 off (off should always be complete darkness). 12on 12off is flowering. Compact fluorescent lights will work if you're hella broke, a combination of bright white and warm white is best.

the uvb light seems like it would work its warm and bright, plus the plants condition has improved

was gonna say the same thing. you can get those lights at like a lowes or home depot. they work if your completely broke. but find a good tight spot to grow it with white paint. and squeeze all the light you can out of those things.
