first indoor grow, wanted the facts from person not faq please?

ok two previous summers ive grown outside, but now im thinking i want to grow inside.
and i want to make a shopping list, and just had these questions (i will be shopping at wal mart, and other places like that)

1) what kind of lights will i need during sprouting time? and when do i have to change lights?
2)what kind of lights do i need durin vegetative time?
3) flowering time?

4)what kind of fertilizer should i buy? i have 5 3-4 gallon planters that i will be using, this is enough right?

5) i will be grwoing inside a closet i have in my house, so i shoudl buy lights that dont produce too much heat? will the heat hurt my plants? because if it doenst hurt th eplants, then it will just heat my house which is fine by me. winter is coming

6)what types of vitamins do i have to buy for the seedling stage, or the seed stage?

7) vitimins for the veg stage?

8) and for the flowering stage?

9) what kind of fertilizer that i have to mix with water shoud i get? and when is a good time to start feeding them it?

10) also what other things will i need? i need a timer for my lights, and i gues i will need light hangers and stuff? what else

Why should I hold your hand because you're too lazy to read the faq and PROPERLY research your questions like the rest of us did? Perhaps you'll find a kind soul willing to do that, but it sure as fuck ain't gonna be me. Peace.

I have seen a lot of people successfully growing with CFL's so if you want to go cheap, go CFL. You will need a minimum of 3,000 lumens per sq. ft. As far as nutrients go, don't feed them nutes until they are 3 weeks old or until they start to show you that they need them. I'm not the authority on nutes but I know that you want to give them something high in nitrogen for veg, and something high in potassium for flower. There are wonderful faq guides for nutrients here at Rollitup, so check them out before you buy anything. Those planters you have will be perfect. Also CFL's don't produce a lot of heat unless you have like 10,000 lumens per sq. ft. so just keep a fan on them and heat will not be a problem. Try to keep the temps around 75 or 80. Also remember that putting a fan on your babies will make them strong. To prevent stretching, make sure you have enough lumens per sq. ft. and keep your lights about 2-3 inches away from your plants. These are just a few pointers but really, there is a lot that can be gained from reading the facts.

If you don't have enough patience and determination to do the research by yourself, then I think you're missing a BIG part of what it takes to be a successful grower.... just my $0.02.

My suggestion to you is that you start by checking out some of the grow logs. See what other people did and get an idea about how you might go about doing it yourself. Use the FAQ for reference and ask questions when you have a specific question in mind. Don't forget to try the "search" feature now and again, although it can be pretty unreliable. Fuckin stoners huh? :lol:

first off, for you morons who keep telling me to read the faq. i said right at the start of my post that i want to hear it from the growers mouth! MORONS.
second of all, it it much easier to have all of these questions answered by someone who has the experience than taking along time to do the research. the best way to learn is from a teacher, not a book. for me anyways.
second of all! you all have the time to put smerky (but very unclever) little shithead posts on here, so why is it that you tell me to go to the faq, when really you have nothing better to do but sit around with your head up your ass making little comments? wow. degenerate trash.

me on the other hand. i just answered a post on yahoo answers, i mean i coulda told the kid to go and do research but no, instead i answered his question in full, i rounded all his questions very well. and did a magnificent job. but i guess if you are completely stupid and type with two fingers, sit around and insult people all day to get your ego off, you wouldnt be able to pull something like that off would you.

all in all, i am not even close to satisfied with this forum. the people here are rude as crap, and the moderaters do nothing about it. i HAVE done my research by the way, and that is why NOW, i am asking PEOPLE. many MANY faqs indeed suck, and also tell you one then, then another.

so really do the math. your morons. to those of you with usefull answers, thanks, and congrats, you are of the 20% of people that arent complete wastes of life.

and yet, if you werent complete morons, all of these thoughts would have occured to you:

1 "hmm maybe he just wants to hear it from real people to filter out all sorts of faq garbage"

2 "hmm maybe i wont be an ass, and answer him cause im a nice person"

3 "MAYBE just maybe i wont be a moron today"

and now im totally leaving this forum, because i will not be a member of a forum of mentally in capable people, when the internet is full of many many pot growing forums. this is by far one of the worst forums i have ever signed up for. i came here to get advice and real life experience of people. i left with 1 good answer and 3 that were rude and basically very dumb people.

1/4 are usefull, and even that answer didnt even really answer me, just about the bulbs. but thanks anyways. at least i got one answer.

Might be something to do with too many questions, surely you could of found some of the answers to basic questions in the faq, also you it might be better if you ask the question when you are actualy in the process of doing what you need the help for, you have more or less asked every question that i asked over the space of 7 weeks, but i was asking as and when i needed the help and then i had a look in the faq

:mrgreen:Wow guess you really got your feelings hurt.....heres my problem with you guy.....when I started growing 15 years ago the internet kinda sucked and all we had to read was an old ed rosentha book you know the one that tells ya to stress your plants by poke n a nail through the stem...anyway I learned how to grow on my own without any help yeah I made mistakes that set be back a few months here and there.....Why are you so affraid of reading at least you have some reference......bongsmilie I started outside and moved inside to keep my stuff safe you are spoiled and you don't have what it takes to pull off a sucessful grow cause you have to really love weed and a prior knowlage of plants in general is helpful anyway go away the FAQ is well put together no lies just facts thus the name!!! no one here wants to here you cry....:roll:
