I do have a question about ph levels during flush. Anybody know if there’s an optimal level or does it matter?
I always used Final Phase now known as Flawless Finish and they direct you to use phed water. That seems prudent since that's what the plants are used to.Anybody know if there’s an optimal level or does it matter?
I’m growing in soil and have been feeding/watering at a strict ph of 6.1. From the research I’ve done that seems to be the best for use with Medi-One. I’ll keep that up throuout the flush, thanks for the advice!I always used Final Phase now known as Flawless Finish and they direct you to use phed water. Wait...I just realized I don't even know if you're in soil or hydro. Subject never came up because the grow was so smooth. Use whatever ph you've been feeding at is my suggestion.
Hey on the edible oil thing...been reading a bit about using coconut oil. Supposedly easier extraction...but not sure about decarboxylation. Where that would fit in.

looks good man. Can’t wait to get to that stage.First day of week 6 tomorrow! Starting the flush today, plan on doing a 2-3 week depending how how it’s looking under the loupe by week 8.
Keep plugging away my man! It’s surprising how fast it actually comes! Once these are all finished I plan on taking a week or two to clean and prepare for a new grow where I’ll be running one Girl Scout cookies plant and mainlining her. Can’t wait!looks good man. Can’t wait to get to that stage.
Thanks John! This will most definitely be my last summer indoor grow until we have out heat pumps installed. I can’t imagine what it would be like running a HPS setup!I feel for ya Stratton,
What I would do is to shut off dehuey and bring as many fans in there as possible. High temps and humidity can be compensated for somewhat by vigorous air movement. It's a beastly hot summer in many places. Good luck man...

PS this guy is my source on this. He grows in high temps and rh

Please do...and good luck. Thoughts are with you.I’ll keep you updated!
Hey, I’m at week 8 since flip on my first grow, yv got a few weeks left yet, I wouldn’t start flushing this early, the bud bloom nutrients can really help with bud production specially in the last couple of weeks when they swell the most. Flushing doesn’t matter as much & you can just do it for a few days not weeks. Thanks John! This will most definitely be my last summer indoor grow until we have out heat pumps installed. I decided to do a little controversial experiment and defoliate the larger fan leaves from one of the plants in hopes to lower the humidity during the night. I’m very tight on space in the tent and figured the best case scenario my lower buds will get more light and air flow. I’ll keep you updated!
I’m definitely flushing for two weeks and Chocolope Kush is a 7-9 week strain. The other two in my tent are on a different feeding schedule. I’ve been strictly feeding with medi-one and decided to give them big bud for the first 5 weeks of flower. Flavor trumps all for me and a good flush is important.Hey, I’m at week 8 since flip on my first grow, yv got a few weeks left yet, I wouldn’t start flushing this early, the bud bloom nutrients can really help with bud production specially in the last couple of weeks when they swell the most. I used a mix from my local farmers Co-op called VP-W30. It’s what was recommended to me by a friend of mine who’s been growing for 20 years. I’ll be using it again for sureHey Stratton420 awesome grow so far! Just wondering what you used for soil. I'm about to start my first ever grow using a 450w Vipraspectra LED in a 1.5*1.5*2m tent. So many different options and ratios to go with soil so was wondering what you went with. Cheers!
Well if you have to forgo purple to prevent mold... that's a good exchange. Was really hoping to bring out more purple from my strains
This is true John, I can’t really complain!Well if you have to forgo purple to prevent mold... that's a good exchange.
Wanted to ask if the plant you defoliated is OK. So if that worked out good...do the rest?
Keep up the good work,
JD
