First induction/plasma/electrodeless lamp grow ! Closet grow - soil - feminized

Well to start off, I have a to say I know nothing about growing. Just a few things that I've picked up over couple of weeks of reading from others posts I think the best way for me to contribute to this forum is by giving everyone something new. I haven't seen and induction lamp grow on rollitup, so I figured why not start a new one ! So I went and purchased 4 new induction lamps. (after seeing the price, I see why no one wants to buy them) but oh well.

So I'm planning on growing out of a closet in my house (I have attached pictures). Its not that wide but pretty tall. I will be using soil and want to use a feminized seed. I want it to be kind of stealth in a way. I have guest coming over a lot and don't want them knowing. Since the induction bulb is 3500k, I think its best to use it during flowering ? I might just use some 2700k cfl's for veg. I mean I really don't know if thats a good idea or not because one of these induction lights a bright up my entire living room ! These lights are sooo bright you can't even look at the bulb for more than couple of seconds. I purchased 4 of them and plan on using all 4

So heres my list of things to purchase this week so we can get the grow rolling!

Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil
Fox Farm Soil Nutrient Trio OR BC Starter kit
4" Carbon Air Filter with Scrubber
pH Control Kit
4 in 1 Soil Tester (moister,pH,light,soil fertilizer)
2 - Timers
Water Dispenser and Filter
Organic Seed Potting - 12 pack
5 Gallon pot
4 - Induction Lights (3500k)
4 CFL's (maybe)

So let me know if theres other things that are a MUST HAVE or things that I really don't need..

Also, I want to grow a feminized seed the first time. I'm hopping to yield at least 2 ounces! Now I need help picking which seed I want to purchase either from Attitude or Nirvana. What are some good suggestions ?

Like I said, this grow is my first and I barley have any knowledge with a grow. I know the best way to learn is by actually doing something. Also, I see many people asking about induction grows. I want to you guys to see first hand how these lights work and what they can yield. I WILL NOT EVER ABADON THIS THREAD ! That is my promise. I know how it feels to be left hanging :/ I will post on a regular and will answer any questions you guys have. I need help with this grow. Thats what forums are about right ? Helping everyone out?

I need help choosing a good feminized seed ! (as soon as I know, I will make the purchase) What are some good strains with good yield and easy to grow ?

Good luck.

Remember, heat is your enemy, and will degrade your lights quickly.

One light is enough for that space, but you need to veg with something different, or one of these lights at 6500k.

The place I bought mine from said it was rough on seedlings. It is a dual band.

Where did you get yours?

2700k is best for flowering, I think. But you might be ok...I don't know.

edit: Choosing a strain depends on what you're looking for.

I'd recommend Vortex, William's Wonder, Mandala #1, Black Widow, Grapefruit.

If you want something less powerful, consider The Church.

You got the same lights that I have. I got both the 2700k and the 6500k. My journal is in my sig if you want to check it out. I just started my grow.
