I was going to start a separate journal for the PDD manifold experiment but it's been, well, a learning experience. Europa's PDD is apparently an extremely stout slant, which is not ideal for heavy training. So far I tried LST to get the branches to bend 90 degrees and it was just too woody and strong already, so it wouldn't bend well and one branch split a little. So I decided to super crop it, which led to me snapping a branch, which I taped up, and it healed wonderfully. The other branch bruised and bent, but within days had regained it's original form! So today I tried super cropping again. No idea how this will work out. The amazing thing is the plant still looks super healthy despite me literally torturing it. Depending on the results of my most recent training, I may just let her veg normally from here and try manifolding again with a stretchier strain. The attached pics are in descending order starting a week ago.
