First Journal - 3rd grow

Hi All,
So after reading this forum for so long,I have decided to contribute- as best I can. My last 2 grows were bubble buckets all in one room so potluck on females. This time I am going to try and use ebb+flow. First, it gives me single plant portability, and second, it seems a little easier.

The room is 38" wide by 6ft long. I have separated it at about40 inches for the flowering room. I have a 400w hps in the flower room and soon will be building the e+f system for flowering. I am using dyna grow brand ferts.

In the veg room, I am using 4 semi large cfls ( I think I need more light). Right now I have 3 bigbud seedlings and 3 bagseeders. I recently ordered N.L.'s seeds but they came crushed and need to send them back(kudos to drchronic for fast shipping and response). seedlings are 2 weeks old

I am flooding the table twice a day right now with half nutes. they all look a bit light. It is either temp(65-75 average) or lack of light(unsure).

I have a 75 watt hps I was thinking about adding to the veg room. I am going to add a small ceramic heater and try to bring the temps up. Floor is uninsulated so room will get cold in winter.

I am trying not to be a hack at this, so, PLEASE - any comments or suggestions would be welcome

So here I am in the third week of veg and the babies look ok. This is my first run at flood and drain so I Hope I get it correct.
My 3 bagseeders look like cabbages but the bigbud looks ok
I will be changing my reservoir tomorrow,ph balancing And I think I should be starting on full nutes right?

Hey One, healthy looking plants. But put that 400 over them so they can really grow! Trust me, those plants want it! They could be twice the size and two weeks into flower for now. And try to check your nutrient company's website and look for a feeding chart or call the company's help line. They know why you are calling and can point you in the right direction for sure. GL!

I amusing "dyna bloom" and "dyna grow" as my nutrients. I cannot afford new ones at this time. Does anyone know the proper feeding schedule for these?

Hi all..
So here it is I think 4 weeks. I took the 4 bag seeders and put them under the hps at 12/12 so I will have a little early bud.(hopefully a girl in there). They have been in there for 5 days, not really showing sex yet but I think at least 2 are males.

The 3 big buds I have under 4 42wt cfls. I will leave them at 24hour lights and take some clones this week to determine sex.

I received 2 crushed orders of Northern lights from dr chronic, totally not his fault, in fact, the service i received after the first order , was fantastic, I had replacements in 7 days. I didn't even ask him to replace the second batch, don't want to seem like a scammer. I got my bigbuds from nirvana fine so I ordered the on sale jock horror and received them yesterday. I put 3 into germ.. just want one lady. Can anyone give me opinions on growing Jock?

The seedling next to the bigbuds in the picture is a crushed northern light seed, the only one that survived. It doesn't look to good now but, it also hasn't died yet!

Hi All,
So I am on my thrid grow and will update my journal in a bit. I have 4 bagseeders in flower under 400way hps for about6 days now and 2 are showing sex one boy one girl.. KILLED the boy.

I have3 bigbuds under 5 42watt cfls. This is the first time I have had 2 grow chambers (actually 3 if you count my cloning shelf) and the first time I have used cfl's I noticed that they were all showing pre flowers, 2 boys and a girl. Never had seen that before - am asking about it in general growing

I had about a week of 50 degree nights so I added a small themostat controled heater to regulate the heat to about 70 at night.
Things are looking good. I will add pics tommorow

So here it is 7 weeks of flower and momma still in her 24 hour mode. I Have had BIG troubles and it took me a while to find out why. I am in the Northern Northeast and this time of year temps can flux from 70 f to 20 f over night. My plants all but died and I couldn't figure out why. I have been flushing, temps are good, ph good, etc.....
MY resivoir waters were WAY too cold. This last 2 weekss I added small submersable fishtank heaters to the water. My flowering girls (2 left) came back to life and appear to be back on track. I added the heater to the momma tank and she grew six inches in 2 days-No Shit. All this time I was wondering what was slowing her growth.

yeah the temps have gotten cold for me also but i am growing soil. i guess for soil grows the temps can dip low without being a problem. sucks about the plants you lost. everything is looking luscious,keep up the good growing.
