First led grow ever.....

edit. remember you already have the 6'' fan. exchange that filter for an 8 and use the 6'' fan with a reducer on the filter. no boosters it will do the work itself. maybe use the 4''s as your intake fans iether side of tent.


imo... i only use a 4'' scrubber for my clone and drying room
 
What about a 6 in inline w/speed controller and a 4 inch booster at the filter. At least, Iwould have more control

cob light temps run cooler than commercial chip led panels,,i was always surprised at the amount of heat that came off thos 5 watt diodes
 
I got a dehumidifier cheap from a friend plus i have a portable 10k btu a/c I can incorporate but I have tested this without the dehumidifier and it doesn't seem to effect the humidity that much... with in 10 percent reduction from 55% rh
 
atleast your putting this planning in now. many jump in with a cheap budget or without the knowledge and we see them on here 2-3 weeks in the problem section asking whats wrong. they havent a clue as they've put so much in there that it all just adds up to 'nope'.... usually along the lines of 'first time _______, please help' and its harder for us to know as we havent seen what youve done in those 2-3 weeks. ive never grown successfully with led, it was in the early blurple years with cheap leds and i switched back to hid. but i do know there are a lot of guys on here very successful with them so your in safe hands. its nice to see the planning going in first.
 
I rather plan for 4 or 6 month and test the system, rather than waste money on good genes and kill the plants..... I'm patient & I want things to be right, the first time I fire it up for real....

and yes monkey ive no doubt it can work, im trying to help this guy in his current sittuation using that setup which 'isn't' working for him. lol, please dont think im trying to say your talking rubbish.

Patience is a virtue Rainy ;) (especially in this game
 
So just to be clear, is there a proper centrifugal inline fan anywhere in this setup? I am of the opinion that with only that one light and such a small tent as long as ambient aren't out of control the 4" should work just fine. I think he just has it setup all wrong.

Even early on inew my first indoor grow I studied and followed a lot of other growers using the same sort of system I was. I met a lot of good people only a few are still here.... but as far as the growing if the plant I'm set there, but led wise I am a novice at best. I know a guy who said about the same thing as above stated..., he gets about a half gram per watt with the vipar 900 led. Should have researched a lot more into leds before buying such a shit light... learning as fast as I can lol
