Jumping on board for this grow! Gotta say you guys did you homework and it shows! Can't wait to see how your grow turns out as its looking awesome so far... Kudos!
Nice grow. Very interested since I'm also doing my first LED gow in a small space. Less space than you have im guessing, haven't done any measuring. I'm also using the same kind of lights pretty much. Kinda disappointed that you had to get a third light. I have 300 watt vipar from Amazon. Doing good so far, I planned on buying another one but didn't plan on needing 3. Imma have to figure something out.
Anyway.....good growing I'm rooting for you!
Hi Porky!awsome journal man!
This is purely my oppinion, but the plants look a bit over fed to me...perhaps a bit too much N.
Also when you topped, try top with no more than one node above it, otherwise you have wasted time growing all the other plant material (the less you top off, the better...you should try top off the minimum amount possible, you have topped enough to make a clone
Peace dude and good luck!
Thnx that's good to know. I have some LED Bulbs that im going to use a supplimental light. Same idea but imma use mine for side lighting. Maybe i should look at the light you have. Mine is nice but the one isnt that bright. Whenever i take care of my girls i always do it right after the lights go off. Thanks, bizarro! Great to see you're part of the LED Growers Club too.
You know, the thing is that because we did the LST and the SCROG, the plants really expanded like crazy and filled the whole screen in the 4x4 tent - that even though 2 lights could've worked just fine, personally, we wanted the extra boost and have both plants entirely covered by the LEDs, that way all parts get the light evenly, and not more or less in different parts.
And just a safety tip here, these lights are pretty damn intense that we have to use these safety goggles from Apollo Horticulture every time we're taking care of the girls, we take breaks in between - every 5 minutes to rest our eyes. Otherwise, prepare for headaches and feeling lightheaded for the rest of day lol.
Good luck with your grow. And don't worry, you'll be fine with 2 LEDs - they're awesome!
.
Sure man. Just so you know, its impossible to "top" too early, your only harming the growth above it (cutting it off from the plant), the rest of the plant will be fine. See photo attached when I top my plants, you dont have to do it this early, but that's an example of how early you can do it
Also, when the plant "bleeds", dont wipe it off, that acts as an anti-septic shield, so leave it there

Yep. You won't be disappointed with the GalaxyHydro LEDs, they're the bomb. We might try watering them right before the lights turn on to keep it easy on the eyes - now that you mention it, cause these lights are no joke. We've been doing it while they're on because apparently it's best to water when the girls are awake, but who knows. Anyways, all the best vibes for your grow, we'll be stopping by!Thnx that's good to know. I have some LED Bulbs that im going to use a supplimental light. Dudette haha, Thank you, Shonoff!!! Next time we'll try to do better with tucking - now that we got 1 SCROG under our belts.Everything looks pretty good dude and dudette. The only piece of advice I would give is you should have kept moving the tops under the screen even during the first 2 weeks-ish (of flower) or so.
Today we hit 4 weeks into flowering! This time we decided to go for a video to show how the girls look as of this morning before the lights turned on.

Thanks for the good vibes, DankTankerous. We're looking forward to it!Good job, at the rate its going, you should reap a nice large harvest.
very nice! i have one of the same lights, do you have the slightly more expensive one with an on and off switch?? Anyway, i recently have started one plant in a 2x4x5 tent in a dwc bucket around the 1st/2nd week of april. But, in 3 weeks time i have topped once, and then 4 other places, i am also going to try a SCRoG. i will upload a few pics sometime soon, what is your recommended height of the lights? right now mine is around probably 3ft above my plant but it isnt stretching one bit, its efficiently growing very bushy, even being a sativa. OH! Btw, I am growing a Barneys Farm: Honey Bee. lol shes already stinking a little bit. also what is your ventilation setup? looking forward to the rest of this grow, your plants look beautiful.
Sure looks like a phosphorus deficiency to me... Did the deficiency start at the bottom of the plant and working its way up? If so definitely phosphorus with maybe a hint of potassium but to me primarily phosphorus deficiency... During flowering any yellowing of fan leaves will generally be in the last couple weeks and somewhat resemble a nitrogen deficiency normally as its a general yellowing from the plant consuming stored up nutrients shouldn't see much of any necrosis during with that type of yellowingHouston, we have a problem. And we need your help with this one.
Last week we observed few yellow fan leaves on our Master Kush, we didn't give it a lot of thought because we're over half way done into flowering and yellow/dying leaves are part of the process. However, on Saturday we checked again and found some of the leaves in a worse shape, they were turning yellow with brown crisp tips. We went ahead and researched the issue, and we're thinking is phosphorus deficiency since we stopped feeding the plants with the Liquid Seaweed, Grow Big and Big Bloom due to seeing a negative reaction after the last transplanting. Anyway, now we're putting the dots together and think that because we took a break feeding them with nutrients, the Master Kush is being affected now. The girls have been in the current Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil for 6 weeks so it's possible that the nutrients ran out and we didn't add enough liquid nutes to make up for it.
Last Thursday, we watered the plants using the Fox Farm's Big Bloom (1/3 of recommended dose), which is an organic nutrient. Then after researching the issue, on Sunday we watered Master Kush using Fox Farm's Tiger Bloom which is high in phosphorus and potassium hoping it helps with the issue.
Took these shots this morning of just the Master Kush for your review and feedback/advice. Any help will be highly appreciated!
