daaaammmmnnn raider those are some intense looking buds, covered in trichs!
you checked them with a microscope? they are looking close to finish in my opinion
anyone else agree?
that 3rd pic it looks reeeeaaall white which in my experiences means cloudy trichs eventually the buds get a darker appearence when amber trichs have taken dominance.

Man thanks for comliment! I appreciate it. I am hoping my trichs have 4 more weeks. I can't harvest the week of Christmas, so before the 18th or after the 1st. I will post some close ups tonight and get some opinions.

I am not making any ground with my wife and the photo shoot thing:? bumber, I even told her I woudl keep her face out, just some body shots, but she isn't going for it. I am not giving up though.

Day 38 flower-

So I noticed some stretching tonight..It may be the top booster, but buds are getting taller :)
I broke out my SLR cam tonight and messed with it for about an hour trying to fifure out the lighting thing. I actually got some great raw photos, but can't reduce them to upload:-| So I swiithced it back to fine and out of 40 pics I ended up with about a dozen that the lighting worked out in. So these pics are without a flash to get a better idea of what they look like. The flash reflects of the trichs so they light up. These give a better idea of the maturity of the buds.

:) thanks my friend. I have been down there all night, just hangin out in the room with them..smokin and talkin to the girls.LOL I am taterd. The pics will get better with that camera when I get the light timming down.

SO I am high and was moving and tucking fans and found some small buds underneat..just popcorn type stuff..so I cut a couple popcorns off and hung them in the room to dry out.. gonna smoke that shit quick..lol jk I am gonna smoke it though...but my fingers were all stuck together just after cleanning up two tiny 2" popcorn buds...I rolled up some finger hash..I am gonna smoke that too. lol The crystals are everywhere in there..I think I could make the whole damn plant into hash or butter.:weed:

Just wait until your harvest. I suggest getting rubber surgical gloves and pluck the leaves off the bud rather then trim with scissors. Makes for a much closer finish, quicker, and dude...the fucking finger hash is amazing.

I smoked on finger hash for sooo damn long from my first harvest and loved every minute of it.

Keep up the nice work! I noticed stretch really late too!

Yes, definatley gonna need some rubber gloves. I like the plucking idea. Do they just pop out? Good to know about the late stretch..damn I thought they were done growing verticle..There are a couple buds that were 1 to 2 inches higher over night. Crazyness:shock:

Surprised you're still up. Basically, any fan leaves that are coming out of the buds I usually go in around day 2 of drying, pull the buds pack, and snip the stems popping out down as deep as possible, so when they dry up nice and tight its stemless where the fan leaves were popping out. I noticed lots of bud at the clubs isnt trimmed up as much as I like it, but maybe they're doing it for added weight..I dont know..either way, I like my smoke trimmed nice and well.

Then anything that is just a "leaf" without a big ol stem runnin through it, I just pluck off, like the resinous leafs on the bud itself.

You'll know how you like it, I just like doing it this way for extra finger hash + nice clean trim. :)

I have an idea and wanted to get some opinions... I was going to make my drying box and was starting to lay it out, when I got an idea. Since when these girls are ready to harvest, I will be moving the vegging girls into flower room, I will be lowering the lights down too. Which will give me plenty of room to run some wire toward the top of the room and hang the branches in the flower room. This will take care of the odor issue because I already have carbon filter and I have a controlled ambient temp in the room too. Please give me your opinions on this idea.

100% with you on that. Even better, just use the flower room for drying in the dark for 3-4 days with good airflow, and then move the babies in. You will only be a few days behind, which ain't too bad.

good thinking man., then I can bleach my room after the drying is done before the next round.

no advice needed :D.......

I am going to put a permanent drying box on top of my current flowering area during phase 3 of my perpetual grow :D , so I can flower and dry in there at the same time seemlessly :D

that would be the way to go if your have space. I barely have any space.

Yeah the ceiling of my room is the floor of my house, so I couldn't put my drying box above my room. However, Dragon has given me yet another idea. I could build my drying box outside of my room and duct the exhaust to one of my passive intakes on my room. This would cause the odor to be pulled into my room and out through the existing carbon filter. I also would not need a seperate fan. Now I just have to figure out the best place to biuld the box. I think this is the best idea yet:!:
