First micro attempt, day 17.

Nervously switched to micro growing after moving into uni accommodation. Downsized from two 120x60x180 tents. Last autos were 5ft tall so I was stressing a bit. Running a purple urkle fem, 12/12 from seed. It's just popped its first pistils at day 17.


Now in a 50x50x100cm tent with a 120w quantum board (at 90w currently), a 4" carbon filter and exhaust fan venting straight into the closet which has an air purifier in there as well. Not good for heat. With 26c ambients, it's 31c inside the closet right now lol.

Installing a 4" exhaust fan into the roof of the closet in the next few days to suck some of the heat out and pull some fresh air in.

Hoping a carbon filter in the tent venting into a closet with an air purifier, with another carbon filter in the roof will keep smell at bay. The medium already smells enough with decomposing Neem, kelp, alfalfa and Coco meal in it. Strangely garlic like.

Just hope noone asks why my room sounds like a space ship. Feel free to share your first micro grow attempt.

Have you moved the driver outside of the tent? That would reduce some of the heat.

I didn't even think of that. it gets really hot up there, so makes perfect sense. Thanks for the input.

tent looks cool. any more photos from the box?i allsoo grow in a micro you can do a serious grow in it.

An alternative for a small space would be to try the Eazy pyramid mini, you could put four of them in that tent, or the if you went for the full size pyramid one of those should work real well. I only just discovered them https://rollitup.org/t/eazyplug-pyramid-g-s-challenge.1072760/
