First Mother. New grower. Skywalker OG Kush

This is going to be my first mother plant.
I'm going to update this with as much info as I can for myself because basically my memory is shit and I want to know what works for this plant because I plan to grow it for a long time for personal use.
So if I seem like I'm rambling at times, please forgive me.

The methods I'm using will be based off what I've learned from my first grow (still in progress) along with random ideas I have along the way. My soil mix, tent, light setup, basically everything is new to me so this will be a learning experience for me all the way around to figure out my grow style and what works for my setup.

I have some other plants running and some more waiting to go in, so I have a bit of time with this.

My plan is to try and grow a mother so I can have 4 clones from her ready to go into aggressive Veg by the time my tent is open. (Probably around mid-February)

I have 1 Fem seed from ILGM soaking in tap water until germed and then into a solo cup with my 50/50 soil/perlite mix.

Day 1- 11/9/2019



Nutes are General Hydroponics.

And I'll be feeding according to directions (crazy right?) Along with 5ml of CalMag per gal.

She'll go into a room with 240w of T12 Daylight florescents kept between 76-80F and 60ish RH. (Shooting for 70's if I can get it)

She (and the clones from her) will end up in 3 gallon fabric pots. Mom might end up in a 7gal eventually.

Then into a 48"x48"x80" tent under 915W of mixed lighting.

I use tap water straight out of the tap @ room tempish (use finger, have therm when stoned...) that is about 350 TDS and 7.2ph.

I will use General Hydroponics PH Down to adjust all feeds to 6.4ph.

Anyway that about covers the basics.

Went into 6.4ph prepaired soil.(no nutes)

In nursery 1" under T12's.
Will begin 18/6 schedule today.
Lights out 2pm.

She broke soil

Update. Day 11

She's coming along. Just been feeding her as needed 1/4 nutes. Until today she's been in a corner of the flower tent. Now she has a proper home under a 315CMH. Got another 600w hps ballast today so flower tent now has 2X 600w hps in it.

She now has a little sister too.
Just germed and went into soil today. So exactly 2 weeks after the first.
New plan is to finish them both out so I can see the difference in yields from a 6wk and a 4wk veg time.

If anyone is following, I combined my grows into a new journal where I'll be keeping everything from now on.
