Im like 90% sure thats a sack.. What are your guys take on male bag seeds ? Is it common or is it just a stress tactic they pull off ?.. Would you still breed with a bagseed ??

Definitely a sac. You can keep an eye on it for a few days, if it’s a female the stigma or pistils should show just a quickly as the reproductive part appeared

Yeah, but I've never seen female stigmas appear out of a male sac. Not that I'm against such a gender situation or anything...

Came to check on the plants about a week after transplant in the supercharged soil. Things are looking good cant complain. Got a little sunburn going on but its all adapting well Probably gonna top in a week or 2. Things are staying short and theyre loving the new kicks. 20210501_153148.jpg

As for my black cheese still being in the 1.75 gallon pot its going great. I believe its a male though from the start so im keeping a close eye on em. Dont want my FM to get knocked up. Ill save that for some clones another time when i find me a pair of guaranteed keeper parents. Snapchat-1561773410.jpg

Im guessing this one made it after more than a week of me making the cuts. Out of 4 this one made it hopefully. No way to check since in soil so i cant pull it out or anything like rooting cubes. No worries i misted after taking this picture ;)

Slight update on everything until things flower. Just transplanted my B.C real late and i knew i shouldve done that before it got root bound. I went to check on everything the other day to see it wilting bad for water .. Drenched and repotted with amended soil and recharge and he/she bounced back well. Snapchat-1046892713.jpg

Compared to the other plants i have the Black cheese takes the win for the thickest stem. But my facemintz takes the vigor on everything.

First introduction on this late member of the fam. A bagseed i found from a good friends fire weed i was breaking up. Catching up super quick looking lime green in its final pot and the stem rub is sour. Snapchat-1039682192.jpg

So why not in the ground instead of pots? Is it because you expect to move them 2 times a day for light deprivation or something for early flowering?

Just to have more control over what i feed them and i dont want any wild growth going just yet. The soil here is great so id expect alot from being in the ground. They're staying in the same area in the pots because of good lighting.

Becareful, dispensaries seeds are notoriously known for being infected with pests. Don't be surprised to find mites or actually make it a point to inspect leaves constantly cause chances are 80% you'll have a pests problem if you buy seeds from dispensaries.
I think you're referring to clones? Im familiar with that though there is a high chance of PM with other peoples clones.

Correct seeds do not host pests. Clones are liable to have pests, watch out. don't use others clones unless you trust implicitly...

Whats up RIU folks. Vbz here at my attempt to grow organics all outdoor with amended soil.. And all other organic Ingredients.. I am starting off with 2 pretty Fire bagseeds i recovered from a dispensary blue dream and a facemints. Im using Happy frog potting soil ,added pearlite, 25% earthworm castings , jobes all purpose 4-4-4 for veg and jobes tomato and garden 2-5-3 for flower. Im doing 2 tbsp of 444 per gallon of grow medium for veg 1.75 gallon pots for veg and 2 tbsp 50/50 of both bloom and veg with 7 gallon buckets for the final transplant. also will let cook for 2-4 weeks in their pots.. From what i often see alot on the forum most usually stand by this method/recipe maybe with more added work. Any tips / advice is needed for a little more understanding to all this leave the negativity in the trash.. We all live and learn, I have a pretty good feeling about it. I dont mind failing and getting back to it but this cant be that difficult.. We'll see. Will be here from start to finish if we get there :bigjoint:View attachment 4875943
Bag seed from a dispensary? That’s crazy.
