First Organic Grow with Full Fluorescent Lighting

lookin good man. see... and people try and say u cant grow plants with CFL's or floro's... shit i pulled over 3 ounces off 1 plant mylast grow with CFL's.. adn my new grow (in my sig if u wanna check it out) is at week 7 1/2 flowering and will probably have about 3 O's on it. =)

those things are HUGE man. cant wait to see them in full bloom!
 
Just took cuttings from the Misty Momma. Trimmed the hell out of both so the new clones will have slightly stretched stems! It works really well! There is 12" between light and canopy...

hey bro plants are lookin good. when u gonna flower them out if you havent started already. and a dome would be good if you have one for your clones, unless you have done it before with out. and are you gonna flower under the t5, i thinki read that your were.

Thank you. I AM planning to flower with the T5's, but I need an intake fan before I close off the flower side...My Le Fruit from the right side went to a NICE garden about a month ago...It is 4 feet 'round, 5 feet high, and under a 1000w HPS...This strain has AMAZING COLA's!!! I'll take some pics next time I'm down...We're flushing NOW!!!
 
lookin forward to see the results with the t5 they look great so far, ive bean wanting to get some t5s for veg. and im lookin forward to the pics of the plant u described.
 
If any one stumbles onto this journal thread, I'm sorry to say the closet was shut down, and I let my friend take over for now. In the next few weeks, I will be starting a new thread, entitled,"The Reactor". I will be using PRIMARILY vertical 600 Watt hps bulbs, open, with a 1000 watt MH on the ceiling. My Veg room will have a 600 watt MH. I quite enjoyed the T5 experience. But my budget has gone way up, so I think MH will penetrate and give me a more "ball" looking bush. This will illuminate a flowering foot print of 110 square feet. 5,000 lumens from all angles is the goal! Stay tuned! :fire:
 
Dang dude, those mommas are gorgeous. I was looking forward to seeing what some low-red spec t5's would do in flower, but equally looking forward to your new project. - ive got the exact same t5 panel by the way, it kicks ass.:leaf:
 
I have used t5's to flower for quite a few harvests. I wasn't completely satisfied but averaged an oz of meds per plant lst'ed and topped. That is an 8 bulb, all red tube and badboy fixture The light penetration part of it has been a problem for me. It does work though and you get good meds. Give us a link to your new thread please...??
