First PC grow! What do you think RIU?

Thanx for the kind words Chief! I am pretty happy with the plants considering it's my first real grow! the plant all the way on the left should be done in about three weeks. She is the most developed, and frostiest!. That will be 9 weeks under 12/12. The other two are behind a week or two so I expect to pull those in 4 -5 weeks which will be 10-11 weeks under 12/12. Im gonna guess I get between 20-25 grams off the first plant. I hope anyway, first grow so i could be way off!LOL!

I have no problem getting them to germinate, I got that down. It's getting them to sprout! I have used pete pellets in a humidity dome. I've tried without the dome, because I read they need fresh air moving through. I straight planted seeds into my FFOF with no germinating. I started germinating two more seeds today so I will plant them and put them in the dark. i have not tried that yet. Even before i got the plants I have going, going, I went through like 5 seeds trying to get started. So getting seeds to sprout is definitely my weakness, and it seems so easy! LOL!

So I have been away for a while, but i could not leave this story without an ending. This is about 65% of my total harvest. I plucked a few buds early for taste. Still have some buds on the plants finishing. That big one is Thai Spice, not sure what flavor the others are. Let me know what you think!!! This is my first grow, pretty proud!

Looks great. I need to start producing my own medications. I am sick of buying junk from people I don't trust. I am intrigued by the PC Grow Boxes but the small size worries me but then again you proved them to be affective. Good Job. what was the final yeild and time frame. I am looking to supply myself with 1 1/2 to 2 ounces per month.

Took about three months from seed. Total harvest is a little bit over an oz. This was my very first grow and made some mistakes so I am happy with that. Very confident my yields will go up with experience. What i have done is add another grow box and will have autoflower plants going while regular plants are flowering in other case. So i will have a perpetual harvest going within a few months. the way I see it this just practice for when I have room for a larger grow with serious lights. 1 1/2 to 2 per month is achievable, but with practice and patience.

That was some oder control goup. Leaving the jar it came in open was too strong. So I took a little out and put it in shot glasses. It worked great! The smell wasn't really that bad, but every so often i would come home and smell the ladies.

How did you convert the power for the PC fans from the 110volt?

I just simply connected the wires of the fan to the wires of a plug. I didn't know to much about this part, but turned out to be super easy.

You want to use a 12V DC adapter (e.g. cell phone charger) for fan power. Then simply snip the plugs off the ends of the fan cord and the adapter cord, strip a little bit of the two wires (there may be three from the fan -- one doesn't do anything) coming from each adapter. It may take a bit of trial and error to figure out which wire is + and which is -, but they should be marked so once you know which is which you can take note of it. Hooking the wires up backwards won't damage the fan or the adapter -- don't worry. After they're hooked up properly, simply figure out a way to keep the wires securely together (use duct tape or a small-gage wire connector).

I figured it had to be wired to 12volt some how. I tried it with 110v and POP. Oh well. Phone Charger is a good idea. I will do that; I have enough old chargers hanging around.I want to use the prongs from the 110V supply on the inside so I can use the existing power cord and just plug it in. Perhaps hardwire a wire the lights and the phone adapter to the pigtail hanging of the inside. that should work.
