My plants 22 days old. Started off amazingly slow probably because of the (miracle gro moisture control). Had no idea it was bad until after the fact. Hows she look. Bag seed from some decent stuff. Hopefully she's a she. Growing under 150 watt led was on 18/6 now on 24 strait due to going out of town for a week.

How'd it end up? I have a similar question because mine seem to be starting slow.

This is mine at day 51, mine also started super slow, but once I got better lights and finally some plant food, it’s started to take off. Also FIMmed it a couple weeks ago.
Looking good. I'm good with lights. I have a 1000W HID system that is dimmable (600, 750, 1000 watts and super lumen). I also bought a cheap, small LED because I didn't want to use my big light on the cotyledon. I used the LED for two days then put the MH bulb on 600w.

I'm using happy frog soil mixed with extra perlite and my understanding that it has roughly two weeks of nutrients "built-in" so I was going to wait to start adding nutrients. What kind of soil do you have and when did you start adding nutrients?

My main concern is that these are autoflower and the plant in my picture is in its second week. Every timelapse I've ever seen of autoflower shows the beginning of bud formation around the end of week three. At this rate, my colas might get a few inches tall and therefore a waste of resources.

I’m a first time grower and I had the same exact issue. My lights weren’t making my plants happy. I believe it stunted their growth. Once I invested in a 600w led lights and nutrients to feed plants i’ve seen a major change. I grew this plant here from seed using doing it the correct way and I can honestly say the plant size developed faster than my first set. Could be genetics or strain who knows...

I'm also growing an auto that's 11 days out of its rapid rooter and moving slowly in a drip/RDWC system. Up until yesterday I was pretty discouraged until I saw how common the slow beginning growth rate is by comparing it with others (also growing CBD Crack) at growdiaries.com. You might want to do the same with whatever it is that you're growing.

I watched your video and saw the second set of leaves on day 5. Mine are on a similar track, so that is reassuring. I'm on day 7 from the first cotyledon and surprised at the slow growth. But the girls are in their final pots with 600 watts of MH light. I've got ten years of growing experience but none of it with seeds.

I've only grown from cuttings in the past and the growth rate, regardless of strain, was considerably faster than my current situation. So is the factor that is lending itself to slow growth the fact that it's a seed or the fact that its autoflower?

It's because it's an autoflower. They tend to spend the early days developing roots rather than foliage.

Every grower will have different outcomes due to seed, strain, lights, environment etc. Post a pic if possible. Good luck on your journey!!!!

thanks just be. I've been spending a lot of time in the tent talking to the plants trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I'm struggling to keep RH in the 40-60 range. I live in the north and I need to run the heat almost constantly. Forced hot air is the enemy of humidity. Without a humidifier, my house sits around 25 RH. I got a small humidifier for the tent, but my HID raises the tent temperature and my temp controlled switch kicks on at 80 degrees and removes humidity.

I've seen people with with successful grows at 35 RH through all stages of growth so I wouldn't sweat it too much.
