First plant

Hey, I was just wondering if I could get some feed back about my plant. I planted a clone about 5 weeks ago on my balcony, its about 16-18 inches ( cloudy last 14 days ). Just wondering when and if I can expect to see some budding ? Don't know if its male / female.....ya ya gimme a break its my first. Anyways, any help or comments are appreciated.
Oh ya, what kinda take does it look like I would get if it buds based on progress of 5 weeks on a balcony ? ( any estimates would be great )
And 1 more thing.......bag it to induce flowering ?......and if so when ?

how much light do you get? you will wont about 14/12 day night to get it to flower but 12/12 beter but i dont do out door growing

14/12? Never heard of such a thing!

should I put a garbage bag over it for the 12 hours to ensure complete darkness ? And when should I start the 12 hr complete darkness ? I heard people saying beg. to mid august to start covering at night. Anyways,.....how do they look so far ? any suggestions ?

14/12 light cycle is the light cycle for growing on Mars I think. Or maybe it is the Moon I am not sure which it is...

As for your plants.. I think they look pretty healthy. They are stretching, and are not very bushy, but still very healthy. I would give them another 3-4 weeks before flowering. But i do not know where you live either. What the weather is like through out the year. But 3-4 weeks is my suggestion.

Thanks for all the replies, still dont know if they are male or female......any help ?......I have read what to look for, but,.....well, I may only see what I am wanting to see. As for the bag over it for 12 hrs, would this help induce the flowering......would it harm the plant ? The light from the dining room is on and the plant wont get the required 12 hrs of total darkness so I need to do something. Also, does it look like it will yeild much ? I have the sun from rise to set almost providing there is no clouds like it has been for the last two weeks. Temp. for example, tonights low is around 16 and high tomorrow near 28.
