Greetings!
My setup:
1x 80cmx80cmx160 cm Oxford diamon Mylar tent from eBay (45£)
2x 300W hydro Mars full spectrum LED (142 Watts actual being drawn from wall for each light ) (105£)
3x 3 gallon fabric smart pots (5£ for 5 pots)
1x 5 inch rhino hobby carbon filter + 5 inch ducting + 5 inch inline fan (55£)
12 inch desktop fan (able to oscillate - but I simply aim it towards a corner above the canopy with the back of the fan drawing air from a wide filtered intake vent on bottom and back of tent
2x 50L bio bizz organic soil all mix
1x 1L ionic cal mag
1x 20L bag random potting soil from nearby hardware store for when plants were seedlings but I will discontinue this soil for any future seedlings as consistency retained a lot water
Coco fibre cups which I only used for the 2 most recent seedlings
1x Bio bizz 3 nutrient pack: grow , bloom and tOp max
1x hygrometer
1x electronic thermometer
1x silver line solar powered PH, moisture and light intensity meter
Current soil ph: 7
Average temperature at canopy during light: 27-28 degrees Celsius
Average temperature at canopy during dark:
19-21 degrees Celsius
Average humidity: 45-55%
Background info: I actually began the biggest plant (unknown strain name so I titled it classic haze based off a vague hazey memory of the plant the seed came from being well... Hazey and of respectable potency) in a solo cup with potting soil and used 2x hgps 15W LED 100W 'equivalent' light bulbs with light spectrum of about 6000K and 2 x other brand led 15W '100W' equivalent light bulbs with light spectrum of about 3000K. The 'classic haze' strain lived for about 1 month in a roughly 4L milk carton which i cut in half. I had to leave the plant for about 2 weeks during which time I advised housemate to care for it and water every 3 days. He had to leave town for 4 days so I told him to overwater it before he left. When I came back home to the plant it was wilting and I realised there was about 5-6 inch of roots growing out the bottom of the carton as I had cut open about 2 inch long 1 inch wide slits at the bottom. Did not expect this to happen but damn the roots were literally livin in air soaking up water. Some sort of a sick, demented unintentional DIY hydroponic/aeoroponic system. Anyways all babbling aside, the roots growing out of the milk carton were essentially half a foot longer than all the roots stuck on bottom of carton, the roots seemed to have siphoned themselves. When I transplanted the plant into smart pot I had to place the plant on its folded over, jumbled roots. But damn did it make a strong comeback.
The 2 seedlings are iced widow from female seeds, and are 12/13 days old from seed being placed in water. They also began in potting soil but were transferred from small cup to the all mix so they have a lot better overall soil composition I'd say. They're making a stronger start than any bag seed seedling and I hope to flip all plants including the haze into flower within a weeks time. I'm desperate for homegrown medicine.
Throughout classic hazes life I've been pruning and fimming (especially a lot of fimming when it was young) and more pruning. I'd say this plant is roughly 7-8 weeks old since seed was placed in cup of water. I originally had many seedlings of various bag seeds but chose the strongest of the strong. Anyways I hope you enjoy be photos and updates which I intend to do at least weekly. Please do provide me feedback / suggestions / comments / questions / whatever ya feel.
Disclaimer: this grow is purely for self consumption and self medication of 2 auto immune diseases. Don't worry one of them is diabetes and other is gastronintestinal - I lead a relatively active and fulfilling life with fishing and studying and working etc.
