Hey peeps, hope all's well and high.

I've been browsing through the forums here for a while now, and eventually registered recently. Thanks to all who are active in the forum... your combined information and knowledge has been incredible to learn from.

I started my first grow a little over 2 months ago. Haven't had many dramas, only one where I had to flush the roots very early on, and more recently I had to upgrade to a bigger pot. But other then that its all been pretty smooth.

I'm growing indoors, only one plant. I've had two 25w CFLs trained on it on a 18-6 hour timer. The plant was initially in soil, but changed over to vermiculite when I upgraded the pot size. After the transplant everything seems to be going well, so no dramas there. I'm using Miracle Grow as a food source, mixing it with water in the directed proportions.... first low concentrate and gradually eased it up to what was directed. Using it as both a foliar spray and general pot watering. I've attached the details of the Fert below.

I pruned some branches early on, without touching the main stem.

As you can see from the photos below, a few leaves are suffering from some distortion, and are drooping a bit. I've been careful not to overwater, yet still keeping the potmix moist. I was away from my girl for about a week, and when I returned I noticed the leaf issue. There has also been some dying of the tips in some areas (for over a month or so), which are not getting worse, but they still seem to crop up

Mind if you take a look and tell me what you think? Any ideas or recommendations/opinions would be appreciated.

Not really too interested in flowering her just yet. And yeh, it is a female, or atleast a hermy.

Cheers

well, its looking great mate, what kind is it?
my only comment is that it looks a bit droopy? is it too much water, or not enough?
also, you mite wana get another light or two, especially for when it goes to flower.

I'm no expert, but from what i read it sounds like ya baby isnt getting a whole lot of light, are you using a mixture of natural light and artificial light? if not i would recommend adding atleast 1, maybe 2, hell even 3 more lights if you wanted to. it could never hurt, and i think your leaves would become alot more lively. And from adding all those lights your end product will be much denser and well formed.

I know you say you just transplanted, but it looks like that plant might already need a bigger pot. There's nothing in the pics for scale, and I can't really see the pot, but that looks like maybe a 2-gallon pot and the plant looks to be 2-3 feet tall already. I'd want that in a 3-gallon pot or 5-gallon bucket or something, especially if you are going to keep letting it grow. That baby's not even flowering yet, so when you switch it over it's going to get HUGE if it has enough light.

Being rootbound can cause plants to droop fast; there's not enough room in there for water, and they drink it up fast.

You said you keep your dirt moist. The drooping is more then likely going to be a root suffocation problem. Your dirt being too moist all the time is keeping the roots from getting some air through the soil during the drying process of the dirt.
The constant wetness is also constantly releasing nutes into the roots. The plant is being overwhelmed with all the natural nutes that dirt has in it already. Let the dirt dry a bit overwatering can easily lead to root rott.
Not exactly what's wrong with your plant but I'm putting logics behind all the info you gave me so try & trouble shoot with it man.

Here's a another pic showing the size of her... note the cigarette lighter and the pen on the pot. She's about a little over 1.5 foot tall. I've got vermiculite in the pot, but thats it.

I'm pretty sure its a indica/sativa hybrid. Don't know the strain, picked up a couple of seeds from a mate that he found in his oz.

The lower part of the plant has been pruned, thats why its been growing out, but I've let the main site grow straight up.

And yeh, its getting the light from the CFLs and indirect natural light. I'm going to try another fert thats higher in N. I've repositioned the lights as well - one from the side facing the top portion of the plant, and the other facing straight down on to the top.
