First Post. First Grow. Indoor Medical Grow. Tips? Thoughts?

First post. First grow. Indoor medical grow for wife so looking for higher CBD, lower THC. Pics attached.

Conditions/History:

Planted seed in soil on April 6th -- Day 38
Harlequin strain
Photoperiod
3 gal pot...I think
Miracle gro soil (or some other cheap stuff from Home Depot) with peat moss and perlite

Lst used
Fimming used
Scrog with net 2in above soil (not ideal scrog at all... but really nervous of running out of space and also used my daughter's doll string to create a makeshift net so don't mind the rainbow colored and poorly spaced netting...I make it work as I go but def won't do it like this next time around...prob go with PVC pipe, screws a string)

2x2x4 tent
4in intake fan 195 cfm (outside of tent to conserve space and then fan routes air to ducting that vents outside house)
Carbon filter (in tent)
450w viparspectra
Humidifier
Small clip fan

Average relative humidity from data over past week: 56.5%
Average temp from data over past week: 74.6F

Had nitrogen tox and overwatering early on but has been resolved, I think
Using dyna gro nute line (only kln, grow, and bloom..didn't get around to buying mag pro, zyme, and flush) but cut WAY back from recommended chart values because plant was really hating it -- give it 1/4 strength past two weeks and it is happy
Occasional (biweekly) foliar with neem oil and protekt
Haven't checked ph since transplant to bigger pot

Any tips or pitfalls to be aware of going forward?

Biggest questions:
Given my limited space, when should I flip to flower?
How can I improve for next grow? (Can't get bigger tent...yet!)

Biggest concerns:
Diseases
Nute tox/deficiency
Exceeding grow tent space...especially in late flower and ruining hard earned buds!

Also, I want to say thank you to the Rollitup community. I received so much information from just reading through these forums; I have only gotten this far because of the tremendous amount of knowledge from the more experienced growers! Thanks again!

Also new growth looks a bit yellow towards center, some stems are reddish/purple, leaves feel dry, and are thin and wrinkled. Anything to be worried about?

You seem to have the science down, and knowledgeable enough to complete a grow. The only thing you mentioned that throws a red flag to me would be adding Nutes to MG ( Miracle Grow ). It already has all the Nutes you need. Just depends on the type you have. Some are 3 or 6 month time releases. Trust me, I’ve used MG, and learned the hard way from adding nutes. Just water and molasses is all you need and you are good to go. Just make sure to ph your water to 6.5 for the plant to utilize the Nutes in the soil. You might have a height issue also considering your height limit is 4ft. Training will help, allowing the plant to grow more horizontally than vertically, so you might be able to get away with the vertically challenged tent.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll cut the nutes immediately and start doing better job with my water ph. Any recommendations on molasses? I see people mentioning blackstrap molasses on other threads....is this just regular stuff from the grocery store? In the future, I think I'll stick with 2x2 base as I only want one plant at a time but now realize I would benefit so much from even 1 more foot of vertical space! Thanks again for the advice. Really appreciate it! I think I'll steal your term "vertically challenged" as well. Gave me a good laugh!

Haha, take the term and run with it. But as far as the molasses, blackstrap, and make sure it’s unsulphured, and yes you can get it at the grocery store.

I wanted to provide an update. I flipped the light schedule a week ago and growth has been pretty dramatic. She has held me to a strict 3-day watering schedule. I cut all the nutes and have only been using distilled water with blackstrap molasses (unsulphured). Thanks @Dontjudgeme! The only issue I'm starting to notice is brown tips on many of the leaves and brown spots starting to form on other parts of the leaves. It seems to start at the edge of the leaf and spread inward. Stems are also a bright purple/reddish. I'm no pro but I'm thinking it is a calcium and/or magnesium deficiency. I just fed this morning and added a bit of Epsom salts(1tbs) along with pulverized eggshell (1bs) that I had reacted with white vinegar (1tbs) -- all this was added to the standard 1gal of distilled water w/molasses (1.3tbs) that I've been feeding for past couple of weeks. Any help would be appreciated. I've taken pictures of the whole canopy as well as pictures of the more affected leaves.
