Folks, we have a big protest at the state house Saturday at 2 but we are also going to begin showing up at the public events. Tonight is the first one, info below

TimeThursday, September 29 · 5:00pm

LocationCrown Plaza Warwick
Created ByRich Budz

More InfoPlease folks, No profanity. We want the respect of the people attending. This will be a peaceful rally to inform the people attending that their guest, their leader, is not doing the job we hired him to do. The people must know. Signs encouraged. PLEASE spell check and be respectful. You can poke to make the point but please don not cross the line. Remember, maintaining our integrity is just as important as getting the word out there. Looking forward to standing with you all.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Governor Chafee, Senate President M. Teresa Paiva Weed and House Majority Leader Nicholas Mattiello will be the guest

speakers at the annual Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns dinner on Thursday.

"Municipal officials from throughout Rhode Island will hear their thoughts on the upcoming special legislative session on pension reform as well as

the 2012 General Assembly session,'' according to a statement issued by the league's executive director Daniel Beardsley.

The dinner will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick.

Won't be able to make tonight's protest, but more than likely I'll be there on Saturday. Best of luck tonight!

Hope it went well and the point was made people in RI need to stop worrying about how they will be perceived and step up to the plate on this. I am a member at the Marijuana Policy Project. They have a easy way to send email for just about every proposal the state has going. If anyone needs any more info. about it let me know. I've been sending the emails for years. I tell everyone I can about it. People need to put themselves out there for the cause. I know so many that benefit from the medicinal value found in cannabis but so few that are actually doing anything about trying to get the legislation passed. The figures and demographics that our politicians are looking at don't even come close to the actual numbers. IMHO

What we thought was going to hopefully be the last chapter in a long battle has now been turned into a war. Thanks to all who stood with us.

Smart , follow them around to everything. I am impressed, thats how it is done. Being a soldier, putting in 150% is the only way to do it.

No Josh, that was the third. Second protest is where we got under his skin. We had him cornered before he left,....no answers. Joel really put the boots to him, Ive never seen a man turn so many shades of red so fast.
