First real grow, DNA kushberry

This will be my first real go I did a round before with some bagseed just to get everything dialed in in my box. Went ok but had some pH problems with my tap water, glad to have resolved that issue before starting the kushberry.

THE SET-UP:
vegg - 1 2' 4 bulb T5
2 50 watt UFO's
just right xtra potting mix
AN sensi grow
GH (I think) bio roots
nitrozyme
and some AN revive every now and then

flower- badboy 6 bulb T5
custom built cab
exhaust fan attched to can filter
intake fan
AN sensi bloom ( would like to make the switch to connesuier )
AN big bud

I will be keeping two mother hopefully. The Kushberry seeds are fem. and then I started one Purple Kush seed that the guy working the counter just gave me for free he just said they were found in a purple kush bud, doesn't know if the plant hermied or accidentally got pollenated by something else in the garden. Regardless free seeds are free seeds.

Everything in flower will be clones from the moms hoping to fit 12 plants in my cab in 1.5 maybe 2 gal pots and pull at least an oz per plant, but we will see !!!!

Sounds good... I vegged mines for like 2 weeks... N then fim'd, few days later I flowered, I then trained her to get the other nodes up, worked ight, they were in 1 gallon pots, from seeds, n stayed short

how much did you end up yeilding per plant and what kind of light, how many watts ?

Sup dude.... I had 6 cfls... 23 watts(100 eq ) 4 of them with the 60 wt eq, i got 20 grahams both, but they weent done had to chop early but one was mature enogh but coulda used 2 more weeks the other one needed more n that was decent, so I'm thinkin done an ounce or more closer, the one that was mature enough was strawberry Jack, the other one was kush, that one still needed time, it couldve went better I believe, I shuda had the lights around the trees woulda been better,had lights on one side, u should get more being ur using hps, this wasn't my first grow but jus did it for a trial, us that hps with some white fluros n see wut happens

Damn thought u were using hps I heard of t5s being good with a few 6400 k bulbs with the lower k bulbs, get better spectrum... So mix bright wit the orangereddis bulbs

Yeah I really like the badboy i just need to fix my soil and i shoudl see alot better results

First pictures are of the progress about 2 weeks ago then of today I pulled the indica mother about 10 days ago a little early but now that i got that out of my system I'll wait til finish on the rest. I pulled about 20 g dry. The kushberry looks good and is about a weeek old , growth is kinda slow though. Purple kush is the same age but doesn't look anywhere as good as the kushberry.

Im rockin' a few KB's at the mo, under a 400w HPS, I LST'd them and have managed to get about 15 cola's off one and about 7 off the other.

Can you do a KB smoke report?

No this is the first I've ever done KB let alone good genetics. Hoping to see a big difference between the KB and the PK and the bag seed I grew. I might try to keep my sativa bag seed alive because of the crazy pink hairs.

Nice pics homie, wut soil are u usin? Miracle grow wrks ight but now I use roots organic n foxfarms light warrior to start, miracle grow has a good organic seed starter dirt u can use, think it's miracle grow, it's at walmart, I dint know u had a mother flowering... Pretty koo man, 20 ain't bad, put some pics of finished nugz, how long did u let em go for?

I got a pic of my soil above its called just right xtra its just a potting mix made with GH hydroponics I havent had any problems as of now no bugs or anything and idk how long I let my indica go for all I know is that i pulled her way too early prolly 10 days to 2 weeks early 85% of the trichs were clear and I put that thing through hell and back with pH swings cuz my tap water is 8.4 but I didnt realize this till around 4 weeks into flower when i started seeing major dificincies due to nute lockout from my pH being so high. Then I tried to fix it with some aluminum sulfate, I believe but not sure, any way its supposed to lower soil pH but ended up using too much now my soil pH is too low around 5 last time I checked. Just thankful to have learned all this before my good genetics go into flower

its been 4 days nothing has really changed for this round I've absolutly made sure I check the pH on everything before the babes get it. So fed with nitrozyme and AN revive today gave them half a gallon each. The KB looks alot better than the PK. And I'm beginnign to think maybe I shouldn't feed them maybe whats in the potting mix is enough so until I begin to see dificincies I will just give them water pH'd to 6.6. Idk if that is a burn on the PK or what ?

Ok so updates will be coming but I had to move out and someone else will be taking care of my babes the kusheberry should be ready to put out about 12 clones which I plan on putting in 2 gal grow bags and begging for 10 days and then flowering hoping for about 16 oz ... I want at least 10 minimum but we'll see it all depends.

the badboy is made by quantum and it runs HO t5... Ive never used a HPS so idk the difference all I know is I love this thing i leave it about 6" from my tops my temps stay at 76 in the box and canopy levels are 78. It's diesel as hell and my first batch wasnt airy at all they were some nice colas i was real impressed with how far the light went to even my bottom buds fattened up nicely.

those plants look amazing great color. Mine are much lighter and the tips are yellowing which idk if that a difiency or not enough nitrogen. There in 6 gal pots with Just Right Xtra potting mix and i been giving them AN sensi grow + bio roots. 1/2 gal with 7ml of grow and 5 ml of bio roots should I up the dosage.

oh yeah how many watts on the light (I wanna guess 400 judging by the size of your tent), what size pots, and final yeild on those KB beauties.

maybe Im shooting for the stars with those yield estimates but I'm figuring 12 clones rooted in 2 gal grow bags rooted then vegged for 3 weeks should pop off about an oz a piece but only time will tell. If if does I'm definitely going to get a bigger badboy and a bigger tent

a little update the babes are about a month old right now and the kush berry is really thriving while my PK seems to be lagging behind

1/3/4 are KB

2/5 are PK

I intend to keep both as mom KB is garunteed fem by DNA genetics and the PK were free from the guy at the seedbank so idk about those
